"Oh I get a lot of random bruises that I don't know where they come from." That's slightly concerning and you should probably confirm that you know what they're from. You might have a vitamin deficiency or perhaps a disease. However more importantly can I see pictures of them. the big man is the masculine dom and the dom is the top and the little man is effeminate and transgender but fully passes as a cis man and has top surgery but since he doesnt have bottom surgery he literally has to be a bottom theres no way for someone with a vagina to top and the bottom is the sub and they are both uncomplicatedly homosexual with zero positive emotions for women and they both have adhd and autism but only the kind of autism that doesnt actually disable you and they also crossdress but in a specifically humiliating way (why would a MAN wear a DRESS??? 🤪🤪 etc.) and they live together in a big house that they can both effortlessly afford and they're married and have 2 kids a dog and a cat (because Big man is dog coded and Little man is cat coded) and neither of them have jobs or lasting damage from canon events they've been through or physical disabilities or PTSD that I cant turn into Angsty Ship Content and the sun has a big smiley face and birds are just V shapes on the paper it doesnt have to be more complicated than that you dont have to flesh them out. you dont have to. and if you think about it wouldn't it just be soooo much effort to draw a whole bird?? youre just having fun its mean to ask you for detail. and my teacher lives at the school and the bus driver lives in the bus and everything is exactly the same :)

Genuinely though it is so frustrating that nonbinary rights and exorsexism are not treated seriously at all, even from within the queer community. It sucks that there's not even an option for an X gender marker in so many countries, including in more progressive queer-friendly ones. It sucks that if enben want to get gender affirming care that we're advised to lie about our gender (or lack thereof) in favour of a more binary trans identity lest we jump through a million extra hoops on top of the million already in place for binary trans people to prove we're serious in order to get the care we want/need. It sucks that in most cases we're still forced into some kind of binary and I wish that the issues we deal with were acknowledged more.

I don’t know if this is an obvious take or a hot take, but I think people need to start re-framing feminism as the fight for body autonomy as opposed to whatever this second wave revival gender essentialist bullshit we have going on right now. Once you reframe it in this way, it’s easier to understand intersectionality and why cis women are not the only people who need feminism. The lack of body autonomy effects cis women, trans people, intersex people, disabled people, poc, homeless people, sex workers, etc. and your feminism needs to include and prioritise all of these groups of people (which will include men btw) because feminism is about autonomy, not about establishing a matriarchy. Body autonomy is the biggest threat to the patriarchy, both with reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and even the right to not be drafted into military services. Once body autonomy is established for everyone, the patriarchy no longer has a leg to stand on.

And body autonomy does include things that you don’t personally like either. I was prompted to write this post after a series of bad takes from progressives, but one of them was re-hashing the Sabrina Carpenter album cover drama with “I don’t think it’s conservative of me to think that the album cover is a bad look when we’ve seen images of women being abused in this way” because I do actually think you’ve failed to understand feminism by projecting your morals onto a woman who was consensually expressing her own autonomy just because she expressed it in a way that you didn’t like or that made you uncomfortable.

Body autonomy also means unhealthy choices. Body autonomy also means regret rates. Body autonomy also means freedom of sexuality. Body autonomy also means mutilation. If you believe body autonomy has limitations and exceptions, then your feminism is most likely surface level.

TERFs are some of the biggest opponents to body autonomy, and if you find yourself thinking “oh people can do whatever they want with their bodies as long as it doesn’t harm them or make others uncomfortable” then you are far more susceptible to TERF propaganda than you think.

i seriously dont think that SOME neurotypical people understand how fucking debilitating and glorified disability's are

"im so depressed!!" yet you shun someone who has been rotting in their own filth because they cannot take care of themselfs. "im so depressed!!" and yet you shun someone doesnt have the energy for hygiene, showering, brushing their teeth. "im so depressed!!" and yet you shun someone stops replying or "ghosts" you because they dont have the energy.

"im so hyperfixated on this!!" yet you find it weird when an actual hyperfixation makes someone sick because its so intense. "im so hyperfixated on this!!" yet you side eye those who physically cannot focus on anything else because all they can think about is that topic. "im so hyperfixated on this!!" yet you think its weird that someone can go hours or even days without food, sleep, or meeting their "normal" self care.

"im so over stimulated right now!!" yet you stare at someone visibly having an autistic meltdown because of the simuli. "im so over stimulated right now!!" yet you find it weird when someone covers their ears, their eyes, or stims to help with the overwhlem.

im so, so sick of medical terms being normalised in day to day speech. no, amelia, you do not have OCD, you just like things being clean and/or organised. and thats okay
