Analyzing the politics of a work that's meant to be apolitical is actually a really interesting exercise because it asks you to critically examine what the creator considers to be "political" in the first place. Which ideas are just How Things Are, and which ones are Political, and how is that influenced by the creator's beliefs?
Usually this just ends up with you looking like a moron btw
Angrily lashing out at the suggestion that it's possible to do basic media analysis was foundational to the ragebait ecosystem of the 2010s, from which we got basically the entire culture of modern far right politics, btw.
I genuinely believe myself and others are being so sincere and literal when we say TOUCH GRASS
I went outside and got an education, that's where I learned that you can obtain knowledge and insight through analytical methods, then noticed that some people who sit on the internet yelling at strangers get really mad about that constantly.
Don’t make me point to the Omar Sakar poem
i need to complain about something
WHY THE EVER LOVING FUCKING CUNT SUCKING HELL DOES GOOGLE NEED YOUR LEGAL NAME?!?!?!
this is some top class grade A bull shit and molasses. i was constantly being deadnamed by something on google. wanna know what it was?
google calendar tasks made through the keep notes app.
one) why the fuck did that change that to be integrated with calendar? its annoying and stupid and ruins everything and makes the app unusable
two) why the fucking horseshit does it use my deadname and not the name on my account?!?!?
for those who need help changing this shit go to your account > Manage your Google Account > Personal Info > Name > Legal Name (should be at the bottom)
this altogether shouldn't be a thing, and i think we should sue Google and blow up their servers. but if you ever need help changing it, there you go
the internet is no longer a place for people to connect and speak with other people from around the world.
the internet is a place where three or four corporations control everything and collect all the data on every single living person and keep a complete collection of every action and every minor thing you've ever done in your entire life (99% of which you dont even know about), and use that data to sell your advertisements and call you a tranny to your face.
tbh I find it kind of hard to take selectively pro-cop or pro-psychiatry leftists all that seriously, especially when their leftism is very "comfort-based feminism" flavoured.
So, it is actually pretty dangerous to leave the house and be in public while seriously psychosocially disabled. Cops routinely assault people for shit like "acting strange," and the common line when they do so is "well I thought he was high on something." They are almost always cleared in court and seldom if ever even suspended with pay for being like this.
I was once slammed to the ground, pinned, handcuffed, dragged to the station and almost charged because I mistakenly thought I had the legal right to use a bus while schizophrenic.
See, I was pacing around talking to myself, as one does, and some nearby white woman called the cops on me. You MUST understand, there is always a Nearby White Woman. I wasn't threatening anybody, getting up in anybody's business, nothing like that, I was a fair distance from everybody else. I know because she fucking filmed me the whole time she was waiting for the cops to arrive lol.
Then old mate in the uniform comes right up, hand on his gun. "What have you taken? What have you taken?" The thing is, psychosis often comes with disorganized speech, and he's interpreting my answer as evidence that I'm high. Uh oh.
Then for forty eight hours I'm in the psych ward. Blood tests, invasive questions. Explain to me why Dr. Densecunt had to ask me about my sexuality. Explain to me why Dr. Densecunt is asking me if I masturbate. Explain to me why even after a blood test came back clearing me Dr. Densecunt is asking me about if I'm on The Substances. Explain to me why Dr. Densecunt is refusing to call my family when I tell him to. They have no idea where I am. My grandma's losing her mind. Explain to me why Dr. Densecunt's answer to "when can I leave?" is "when we're confident you're safe," as we're the only demographic it's legal to hold captive indefinitely without the violation of any crime on suspicion alone.
You don't see schizophrenics outside unless we're homeless because you are a danger to us, Heather. Our safety depends on your comfort, Heather, and you are never fucking comfy, Heather.
And the thing is, I tell this story in leftist circles, and some fucking Melany, some Susan, some Cassandra or her wannabe boyfriend Mark always slithers out to tell me that I need to be sympathetic becuase wh wh what if she had trauma.
What if the sight of a disabled man fifteen feet away from her existing in public really triggered her tr tr tr trauma. Her mental health, defined as her comfort, is more important than your mental health, defined as a right to exist in public spaces, because you are ontologically a threat. Does this actually keep Heather safe? Fuck no it doesn't. Mate, the shit they do to disabled and especially schizophrenic women. You call the pork patrol on a schizophrenic woman, you have almost guaranteed she's going to be sexually assaulted, but what's worse? A disabled woman's rape, or Heather being expected to share a fucking sidewalk. Goddamn
You cannot be serious with viewing either disabled men as automatically a threat to you, or the police as existing to protect women. Exhausting. One day I will kill god for allowing the creation of the true crime podcast
incredible video and also PSA: art competition for anyone interested

May he rest in peace. And may his killers be brought to justice.
Alex was recording, which was well within his right, and was shielding other people from pepper spray. He was trying to help. You'll hear people blame him for having a gun, which he had a permit to carry and the only time it was out of the holster was when ICE took it before shooting him. You'll see people claim he shot at officers, but that is a blatant lie.

Highlighting that this is “considered quite rare” but in actuality we have absolutely no idea how common this, or indeed a great many variants in sexual development, are. Because if it’s not visible from the outside then we only learn about it if doctors (or coroners) go looking, and doctors only go looking if it’s causing a problem.

As you get more immersed in the storytelling, hopefully you realize very quickly that you don't have the objectivity of looking down on this pit, you're inside this pit with everybody else.

Looking at what national news outlets are up to right now, one might not realize a whole major US metropolitan area is, you know, sort of under attack by paramilitary forces. Wild.
im sorry the What is being What now???
While it's not going unreported entirely, what's been happening in Minnesota and in Minneapolis–Saint Paul in particular since Renee Good was murdered is not getting the attention it should be.
There are already 2000 gangsters from DHS deployed, and "hundreds" or "1000" more are on the way, depending on which Trumpland person you ask. As a point of reference, the Twin Cities' actual police total just under 1200 (600 in Minneapolis and 590 in Saint Paul according to the depts' sites).
The feds there are more or less attacking people at random. They've gone door-to-door for "citizenship checks" (completely illegal). They've knocked doors down when residents haven't complied (obviously also completely illegal). In addition to abducting and brutalizing the immigrants they come across during their rampages, they've done the same to US citizens of color and are also harassing, stalking and physically attacking observers.
Here are some local sources:

I also recommend checking out this guy's work:
Schools had to cancel classes due to threats from ICE, and the city districts are offering virtual learning for children who are scared to leave the house.
High schoolers had classes canceled all last week because hours after Good was murdered, Border Patrol gents attacked them as school was getting out, tackled, beat and handcuffed staff, and tear gassed students.
Just a note of the scale/how it’s affecting people at every level and in every context.
Mix of agencies too: CPB, DHS, ICE.
What can you do?
Unsubscribe to any services that you can, specifically ones that sponsor crime or child labor or poverty wages or genocide: Spotify, Starbucks, Target, Amazon, Temu, Shein, Walmart, Home Depot. The list goes on and on.
It's basically impossible to cut them all off, but giving up a lot of the worst offenders is actually surprisingly easy, and you also get to feel a little self-righteous about it.
As a treat.
Do not use AI on purpose for generative reasons, especially ChatGPT. Like, never. Don't repost it. Take it down when someone tells you that you accidentally posted it. Keep up-to-date on how to spot it. I fell for one just yesterday that was so, so real I actually started crying after someone pointed out the inhuman strength flaw. I was so fooled.
I believe Threads is 85% bots. Don't go there. The algorithm is a rollercoaster of ragebait.
Set up a monthly recurring donation to a local food bank, to Palestine, to an activist of color. Even one dollar matters. Maybe think about canceling one of your subscription/streaming services and giving that money to donations.
Charity is supposed to be a little painful, a little difficult. Look at your luxuries and ask if you couldn't give a few to someone else.
When you are moved by someone making positive moves in their community, give them money. Add engagement onto their social media to help increase their visibility.
If they make me cry or teach me something new, I try to give them money. Again, not always, but if they really gave you something? Why not give something back? Most creators have tip jars or “buy me a coffee” type donations that make it really simple.
When someone asks you for help, help. Especially if it is inconvenient for you. Give a coworker a ride home when their car breaks down. Buy groceries for someone who just had surgery. Shovel someone's driveway. Find a local GoFundMe to donate to. Give a generous tip at a local business or restaurant. Hand a twenty to an unhoused person without waiting for a reaction or adding any commentary.
Be kind. Find something to compliment on a stranger and say it. Hold the door open. Get something down from the top shelf. Listen to a child. Laugh with an elderly person. Pet a dog. Watch a sunset. Remember why you're alive, and why you matter. Focus on what your light is in all this darkness.
Follow activists on Instagram- there are a lot. The more you follow, the more you will see. Share education and fact checking. Make sure you have facts- validate your sources.
If you hear a phrase over and over again, ask why. Ask the source, and the intention. Never accept the easy answer, or one that makes you feel superior to someone else. If you feel supercilious, you're actually probably wrong.
Ask me how I know.
Learn how to hear things about being white or about the American propaganda machine without taking it personally. It does hurt, and that hurt feels like an insult. It's not. It is painful to unlearn all of this, and to realize that in spite of your best efforts, you absolutely have participated in white supremacy.
If reading that makes you upset, you're who I mean. It's hard to accept. All white people are raised racist and have to learn their way out, and there is no other option.
That's not disrespectful, and it's not meant to be a gotcha. I was the same way at one time, thinking, “Fuck you!!!! I have fought for alll of the rights since always,” but that was just a sign of the work I needed to do.
And still need to do. I myself am always a work in progress.
If you don't know what to do or how to react to something, see what Black women are saying about it. Do not chime in on their comment section, especially to flatter, pander, or critique. If their comments make you bristle, they're true and right, and meant for you to read and see and absorb.
Learn about early civil rights movements. Learn about The Black Panthers *from Black people.* Watch The Thirteenth. If you haven't, watch the recent documentaries about Hurricane Katrina. Really wrap your arms around who America is before we begin the discussion of how she needs to change.
Know your enemy. Stay aware of their moves. It does you no favors to completely ignore their message, to block out everything difficult to see or read.
Especially because it is very popular. You can pretend it isn't, but it is. Look at the crowds for Erika Kirk. Watch how a fired racist immediately gets hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations, $88 at a time.
You cannot afford to not know their propaganda and be prepared to fight it. Condescending conversations don't bring change. Lectures are for students.
Know your rights, know the law. Do not ever talk to the police. Lawyer, lawyer, lawyer. You do not have any friends in a room full of badges. White people are bred to be obedient- do not comply in advance.
People are going to keep dying. More and more, until we do something violent.
Learn to shoot a gun. Memorize phone numbers of people you love. Learn to drive a manual car. Learn to read a physical map, and my combat veteran partner says reading a topographical map is even more valuable. Learn how to start a fire. Get flint and magnesium. Pack a go bag. Have water purifying tablets. Get a radio. Have a meeting place for loved ones for when we lose the internet. Have an escape plan. Learn to fish. Learn how to clean a fish. Learn to sew. Have cash on hand. Think of what items you own that you may be able to barter for if needed. Start walking, build up your stamina.
How can you run for your life if you can't run?
This isn't going to stop- I need everyone to understand this. They just got away with murdering a white woman on camera. I can already feel the news cycle shifting away, and they've already disappeared him from his house.
He was in ICE for over ten years, by the way, so he was hired by Obama’ administration. Some people are still not ready to talk about that, either. The inaction of Obama is what radicalized me, and the strong-arming of Bernie Sanders galvanized it.
People are going to keep dying, the way people have always been dying in this country. Because white supremacist pedophile billionaires have a death grip on this country, and white people are raised to be obedient, and it will be our destruction.
No one is coming to save us. We are on our own. They are going to start pulling all of us from our homes and interrogating us. I have been waiting for it for years, if I'm honest. When do the Internet Police come to my door to ask me questions about my social media?
You cannot ignore your way out of this. There is no voting. There are no elections. This is a fascist takeover by a cabal of child raping drug addicts. They will not let go. People are cheering them on, in fact. And those with the ability to do something are doing nothing.
Who do you want to be in this moment in history? What do you stand for? What are you willing to die for? Do you want to be proud of staying human in an inhuman time?
Please. We need you. I need you. Please, you have to see all of this and come with us now. Please, our children are being killed and dismembered and handed over to poison-fingered pedophiles all over the world.
I can't sleep at night. The other night I dreamt that everywhere I went, everyone was sobbing. The grocery store, the park. Every single person, heaving with sobs.
I feel like I'm being torn apart. I wake up so viscerally upset every morning that I'm almost sick, so furious that I feel physically violent. It ebbs slowly over the first few hours I'm awake, but it frightens me, if I'm being honest.
Is it perimenopause or is it the end of the world as we know it? Oh, man.
It's definitely not going to be fine.
Lawyers and family members report that they have been unable to locate the inmates at the infamous Florida prison after they disappeared fro
Hundreds of people detained at the Alligator Alcatraz immigration processing center west of Miami, Florida, appear to have vanished. They have disappeared from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) online database, and their lawyers and families have been unable to locate them, according to immigrant advocacy groups.
“When searching for people detained there, the ICE locator now says, ‘Call the Florida Department of Corrections for details,’” says Luis Sorto of Sanctuary of the South, a network that offers legal services and participated in a lawsuit against the government over restrictions on access to lawyers for detainees at the infamous immigration jail.
All of the plaintiffs who were being held at the center were transferred to another location after a new lawsuit was filed in August challenging Florida’s authority to detain people there, Sorto added. That lawsuit also noted that the detainees did not appear in ICE’s tracking system.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which filed the lawsuit, described Alligator Alcatraz as a “black hole,” noting that some people were “missing,” effectively “off the radar” of the immigration system, and “their lawyers and families often don’t know where they are or how to contact them.”
#this is what an extermination camp looks like while its operating
Operated by the state of Florida instead of the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency, Alligator Alcatraz can hold as many as 3,000.
Some quotes from the article below:
Key Points:
A state-run immigration detention center, Alligator Alcatraz, has been operating in Big Cypress National Preserve for six months.
The facility is managed by the Florida Division of Emergency Management under emergency powers invoked by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Multiple lawsuits have been filed concerning environmental impacts, public records access, and detainee rights.
Journalists, lawmakers, and the public have faced significant challenges in obtaining information about the facility's operations and detainees.
A Dec. 4 report from Amnesty International alleges inhumane treatment of detainees at Alligator Alcatraz, and said some detainees are subject to what they say is "torture."
"When it cannot be accountable to the people, we’ve passed out of the democratic framework and we’re in the authoritarian framework, and we can’t have that in this country," Noelle Damico, who is head of social justice nationally for The Workers Circle, a Jewish activist group with about 200,000 members, said in an interview Dec. 31.
Damico coordinates with Betty Osceola, a member of the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, who lives just a few miles from the entrance to the detainment facility, and who has been part of a 24-hour-a-day community surveillance of Alligator Alcatraz.
Osceola has been fighting for decades to maintain conservation lands and water quality in the historic Everglades. She has become an outspoken critic of the detention center. "The state put it in the middle of preserved Everglades lands – people in Florida have worked to preserve the Everglades forever – it’s such a dismissal of all of that," Damico said.
Another reason for the facility's remote location, Damico speculates is to put it out of people's minds. "They put it there and then it’s out of the way so to speak. It’s an hour and half from the nearest population center. It makes it remote, but we can’t let it become remote in the minds of people what’s going on," she said. "Every single day, this horror continues."
The discussions around the murder of Renee Good are such a clear case study for the need for intersectional frameworks. There are lots of claims that she is the “first US citizen killed by ICE” which not only is not true, she is not even the first of 2026. There is both a massive erasure of the victims before her, and an erasure of Renee’s own identity and connections that made her a more acceptable target for both murder and smearing.
Everyone MUST contend with:
1. US citizens are falsely labeled as non-citizens or had their citizenship “stripped” and are deported and then sometimes killed elsewhere
Nearing 100 days in office, the Trump administration continues to push further on its immigration crackdown by deporting families and target
Denaturalization is a tactic heavily used during the McCarthy era and one that was expanded during the Obama administration and grew further

Renee is the latest in a long line of murders and violence that will continue on, and it is crucial to understand that no this is not new, yes it is just as important to care about nonwhite citizens and non-citizens of all races, yes your legal status and loyalty will be called into question once you are dead and it helps no one to make excuses for why the murder is legal, yes “it could happen to (you)” but understand why it hasn’t—what makes you different—and as the differences get smaller and smaller, recognize when is the time to do something about it
