I think DNIs are largely stupid and performative, and for my own mental health I block liberally. If I think you're a bad person I'll block you myself. If I think you're mildly annoying I'll block you myself. If you don't like me, then just block me, I won't care.
While we're on that topic, I hate the terms "proship" and "antiship" with a burning passion, and am genuinely sick of Fandom discourse of all kinds. I sometimes make dark and "problematic" content, and I believe people should be able to make and enjoy whatever content they want in fandom without fear of harassment, even the stuff you personally find disgusting. If that makes me proship, and that bothers you, just block me and forget I ever existed.
