So, I'm curious about some things. Imma list it all:
1. Would Inoichi ever use his Possession Jutsu on Katoshi at some point?
I'm curious if he would see Hitoshi when inside his head and how it'll go. Orochimaru did say Kakashi's exhaustion is similar to Yamanaka's aftermath of overusing the jutsu.
2. I wonder if the Ino-Shika-Cho supports Kakashi or is more on curious-of-their-Kouhai stage. Inoichi and Shikaku was almost dismissive when they meet Katoshi. But then seemingly look out for him when he needs help with jutsu. Is it considered spoiler?
3. Could Katoshi be good enough with Kenjutsu to use it in the future? I mean, sure he said it corporates Hatake Katas to Kenjutsu, but how far will he master it?
4. Does Brainwash need to use Chakra or it can be used with Chakra to enhance its effect but can also be used without sim to body enhancement with chakra? Katoshi did say back when it's a quirk, the identified obstacle is mental blockage with how far it can go. Genjutsu is rampant and Sensors are likely to be very perceptive of the use, will it be explored?
5. I wonder if most of Katoshi's peers truly fear him or its something else. I mean, sure, he can use KI but then, there are Fangirls. I'm under the impression it'll be like when Uchiha Masacre, it'll be more rampanton Kakashi's end.
6. Would he or wouldn't he adopt people into his clan in the near or far future if the whole Sakumo situation is stabilized? Would Sakumo even need to have his name and efforts cleaned? In clan politics, surely Katoshi if he had support from Clan Heirs both major and Minor might be able to use his clan name and status to take in people into his clan if needed?
7. Is it possible for his pack to take in non-canines as long as his own potential pack came from the same origin and took in an unlikely species to be part of their pack? Also, how would Katoshi gain more than just Pakkun as pack summon?
8. Will Katoshi's Kekkei genkai notebook make an appearance or have its content revealed to other charas? Sounds like it has loads of potential. Or maybe he'd share it to his fam?
Ooooooh so many questions! And I'm super pleased to see that you're kind of anticipating my plot points. It means I'm doing a pretty good job seeding ideas and foreshadowing!
There will be Yamanaka stuff, that's why Chiyo exists! Though Inoichi will be involved too probably.
Ino-Shika-Cho are friendly, but the political allyship is a little more complicated because they are not currently clan heads.
He will be obligated to use kenjutsu as Konoha starts sending him to conflict heavy areas. Non lethal options just ain't going to cut it in open war.
Brainwash takes the path of least resistance and operates via the chakra system (which, remember, combines both physical and spiritual energy). But in a pinch (and after more training) Kakashi could theoretically bypass his targets' chakra coils and go for the spiritual energy/mind the way he does in mha universe.
Kakashi's peers are kids, so they mostly mirror the adults around them. So yeah, some of them really are afraid (because experiencing KI for the first time in a place where you should be safe is traumatizing) but most of them don't really understand.
He doesnt need to clear Sakumo's name because of the way he went about announcing his death. Though rumors already planted are difficult to weed out. As for adopting people into the clan, that's spoiler territory!

Say, does Katoshi's Brainwash count as an inherrent Sage-art, Kekkei Genkai, strain of non-inherritable uniqueness or first quirk factor adaptation to Naruto-verse? Or is it something like Mokuton? A Kekkei Genkai that requires unique circumstances to unlock?
Brainwash is a quirk! It didn't come about from anything Kakashi's physical body has.
Hitoshi's soul is connected to it, so when he got punted across the multiverse and reincarnated he brought it with him. Naruto-verse genetics have nothing to do with it, even though his chakra system *did* have to adapt to the weirdness his soul was doing.
Now, in practice it functions as a kekkei genkai. A sort of naturally-occurring Yin Release, like a genjutsu or a Yamanaka technique that doesn't actually require Kakashi to use hand seals.
(If chakra paper reacted to Yin/Yang chakra like it does to elemental chakra Kakashi's would read as Yin.)
And yes, Kakashi is in fact DYING to get his hands on the Nara and Yamanaka libraries because the publicly available information on Yin chakra is sparse, to put it mildly.
So, the fic, I'm having a feeling that Inuzukas are esp wary of Katoshi cuz they smell Orochimaru's or specifically, snake scent all over him. So, dog scent and Snake scent to inuzuka= double trouble in animal sense. Does the same apply to Aburame and any summon or animal specialists?
weeeeeeeellllll uh. It's not Just Orochimaru. It's so funny that you're bringing this up now because I'm writing a oneshot from Inuzuka Goro's pov as a challenge to myself. We're addressing some of all that there.
But yeah, in this story I am sort of leaning into the animal trait thing and the inter-clan difficulties those traits might exacerbate.

Sooooo, I was curious on how many Henge Katoshi will have to stave off his homesickness and how many people know his Henge. As in know what his henge form is (as in contextually know why he henges as MHA casts or know he likes to henge and can clock it's him in henge) and how many they know is him. Def enthused what will lead him to use Katsuki henge (assuming he'll use it someday that you may or may not have implied). Curious only, np if nothing is shared
Theoretically, he could transform as anyone he has ever known, but as for who'se going to make an appearance in this story... I haven't really decided? Like, I know I'm gonna do an Aizawa and a Bakugou at some point. If things go to plan. And I have some tentative plans for Yaomomo and Kirishima. But I'm winging the details as I go.
People are going to start noticing that he uses the same transformations and that those personas have personalities that are a little too well-rounded at some point, don't worry! It's going to come up when he actually has a team who he Henges around regularly. As for knowing about the reincarnation.... uh I'm not telling that's too far into spoiler territory <3

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
