Is this real? It’s like a car crash, it’s horrific but you can’t look away.

The library program offers personalized help to more than 6,200 students in two faculties.
“As a personal librarian, I think of myself as a facilitator between the student and the library, and library resources,” says communications librarian Jesse Carliner.

Pick: Pokémon GO at The Huntington
Picked by: Nathan Branson Nathan is an audio visual technician and does help desk support at The Huntington. He also took the official Huntington map and made the super cool Pokémon GO-ified version you see above (and that you can download). AND he plays soccer.
Pokèmon GO! Egg hatch chart.

Pokèmon GO! Statistics.
For all us that can’t toss the Pokéball to save our lives.
You may laugh, but how many people with fine motor control issues would love this actually being something widely available?
Please op, if you made or know who made this, upload and share the 3D printing file and make this game a bit more accessible.
I can’t throw pokeballs. c’:
Here is a link to the files on Thingiverse, where they can be downloaded and modified :)

ACRL 2015
I need tumblrarians/tumblarians that are -
A. People that would like to compile and share sessions notes because we all want to sit in too many things, and time-turners disappointingly don’t exist
B. People that want to sightsee and sample a ridiculous amount of food and/or beverages
C. People that want to try a different variety of donut every day
Please be my friend if you fall into all three categories.
All of the above yissssss! We're probably making a donut run tomorrow! Message me for deets.
Portland for ACRL 2015! So Massively excited to be here!

Book-Cut Artworks by Thomas Allen
After Sony cravenly cancelled The Interview, people who had no interest in the comedy now want to see it — mostly so they can stick it to North Korea, whose threats caused the film to be cancelled in the first place. But where can they watch it? Some options are already emerging.
Does this mean that the fair use case for showing The Interview is open-and-shut? No, it’s not. But the case is strong and, anyway, would Sony really double down by filing copyright lawsuits over a movie that it was too cowardly to release in the first place?
So let’s hope that everyone from Netflix to BitTorrent considers making a stand on this one. This would be a good occasion for the file-sharing crowd to prove that they care about something more than getting movies for free.
Way to go! Libraries make a difference!
This is hilarious and I love it.
