This has pissed me off for a while and I was just reading about what he said about how the gay community should have responded to Tracy Morgan and so I decided to unleash the fury.
I understand that not everyone has a PhD in feminist studies or whatever but like… seriously? It’s not intuitive to people that telling a woman, out of spite and hatred, that you will masturbate while thinking about her, is an act of violence and serious sexual harassment? And yes, I’ll throw the “misogynist” word out there. Because when you masturbate as an act of hatred for a woman, you already have problems, and telling the woman that you will do it brings it to a special level of contempt.
It reminds me of Dan Savage’s “Masturbate to Christine O'Donnell” day. Hey dudes- STFU. Publicly announcing masturbating while thinking of a woman to put her in her place is disgusting and that you’re doing this under the guise of some sort of “progressiveness” would be hilarious if it weren’t so fucking depressing.
(By the way, the response to that on faux-feminist sites like Jezebel was incredible. “Feminists” were saying that conservative women don’t deserve to be defended by feminists and in fact deserve to be publicly treated as a sex object. Seriously.)
