FAQ
What is this place?
We are Black Magic OSHA, governing body for the safe practice of all Dark Magics and proud partner of the @union-of-mad-scientists. Not only can we provide and enforce safety and/or theatrical advice for villainous Magicians worldwide, we offer a wide assortment of magical services on request. For the treatment of injuries related to magics, dark or otherwise, please see @plague-doc-osha.
Black Magic OSHA accepts no responsibility for any legal or ethical consequences that may result from your use of our services.
Am I safe here?
You may be exposed to discussion of sensitive topics without warning, particularly "unreality". If this may disturb you, we advise you to leave the premises - and in the case of unreality, leave the OSHA complex entirely.
That's not what I meant.
Black Magic OSHA welcomes people of all religions, genders, species, etc. We reserve the right to maim and/or sacrifice unrepentant sinners, such as "TERFs" or "Nazis".
Thanks, but still not what I meant.
We make every effort to minimize unnecessary harm to the innocent, and necessary harm is discouraged. Additionally, evil schemes that may result in mass death are expressly forbidden.
Keep in mind that your sense of danger and foreboding is, in most cases, completely intentional on our part. We shall take this as a compliment.
What are the guidelines for the safe practice of Black Magic?
The Black Magic OSHA Code cannot be easily summarised, and any attempt to do so on this blog would be woefully incomplete and quickly outdated. That being said, there have been attempts made.
Core tenets of the Code include preventing harm to yourself and those loyal to you where possible, accompanying all magics with suitable dramatic flair including appropriate dress, and ensuring that any harm done to the innocent is done for a reason.
