Intro Post

Sup, welcome to my Whump Blog.

I'll probably update or edit this post as things go along.

You can just call me Cracked or Cracked Crystal or whatever.

I go by she/her.

To start off, ever since I was young I've been drawn to these types of things. I just kinda like them, and sometimes they'll give me butterfly-type feelings. Which I kinda seek everytime.

I didn't really understand it, and I would write about it without knowing what it was. So later on, it was nice to learn I wasn't alone on this. But since I'm incredibly shy I just kind of looked at alot of whump-relates Tumblr blogs without making an actual account for over a year I wanna say (I have way to many saved tabs lol).

I got a boyfriend, he already knows and we happily tease about it together. In fact, you have him to partially thank for the existence of this blog.

I'm into art. Both traditional and digital. I still have yet to set up a thing for commissions but I do want to at one point. I also have a different and regular Tumblr account but I'm going to do my best not to link the two, obviously. This is just for whump stuff.

I also have stories and as a result- alot of OCs. Which I'll probably be making art of in the future and posting here. (Although I can't gurentee every single OC post will stick around depending on what I do with the stories in the future)

I hope to get more engaged in the community, despite my shyness (about everything lol). I'm not really worried about popularity or anything like that. But if you have any questions or want to talk feel free.

Lab and subject expiements stuff

Magical and power caused whump. Either by curses or side effects to that ability (I like to get real particular and specific with it too lol)

General weakness

General Fear (and sometimes paranoia)

(intense) nightmares

Passing out

Bleeding out/Blood loss

Impaled or stabbed

Dizziness and vertigo

Unconfused eyes and mental confusion

To weak to stand/faltering

Coughing up blood (or some kind of blood equivalent)

Cuffs, Chains, or bound whumpee (+struggling and straining)

Entanglement or trapped in a vulnerable spot

Vines or ya know, the restraints that are alive or controlled by an outside force.

Whumper become the whumpee

A sudden cause of pain that takes whumpee by surprise

The pain or weakness eventually overcoming a very determined or emotional whumpee (suddenly succumbing)

Self inflicted wounds

Painful nessiarily for healing or getting over something worse

Posioning/posioned

Betrayal and backstab (mayhr even revealed by a physical attack, such as a literal stab).

Smart whumpee slowly manipulating the current situation to their benfit, but still having to go through all the suffering regardless to get to a point.

Vampire whump (both victim and vampire)

Snakes. Squeezing and posion bite.

Choking and stragulation

Breath knocked out (and that's just the start of what's to come)

Being dragged towards the danger

A lil' bit of manhandling

Long progression of curse or posion that slowly gets worse (and worse).

Some psycological and moral complexity of the whumpee, whumper, and/or caretaker. (And some angst lol)

Caretaker become whumpee (most of the time)

Whumpee being harmed during a running scene.

Drowning and water related scenes.

Whumper having (slow) change or heart and begrudgingly being a caretaker

Whumpee having to save the whumper or caretaker (despite wounds)

Electrocution

Trembling

Memories and flashbacks and panic over that (usually alone)

Whumper or unwilling teamate taking advantage of a whumpee's (pre-existing) injury (clutching it to make them succumb or get their point across)

Webbed up.

Held captive (usually)

Jail or designated lab cell.

Headache that keeps getting worse and worse

Once defiant, now broken. (+Whumpee's previous confident demeanour suddenly or even slowly shattering, from the personal or/and physical attacks that cut just a bit to deep)

Immortal whumpees or characters that aren't quite human, that aren't used to or supposed to feel pain, feeling pain.

Certain royal whumpees

Angel and demon whump (of course), or just whumpees with wings.

Gunshots to the whumpee (usually)

Certain types of minimal torture

Dark room and/or blindfolded (they don't know what's coming to them)

Character who risks their life a little to often (sometimes due to feelings of worthlessness)

Starvation (and sometimes dehydration)

Loss of control over self mentally or physically (such as a body part being controlled by an outside or unwanted force)

Whumpee uncomfort

Those slight sounds

Ok/mid things (still like them but to moderate or fluctuating degrees. It can also depend on the scene)

Emotional whump (sadness ig)

Recovery (or very typical caretaker and whumpee tend-to scenes)

Non-human whumpees (depends, half the time it's a favorite)

Whipping (sometimes will be a favorite though, depends on the scene)

Spider and creepy crawlies (the bigger the better, the smaller the more nah)

Severe burning (the more burning the more nah it is)

Nosebleed

Memory loss (close to nah)

Live action whump (very rare when it's a favorite)

Begging

Overdosing (can really fluctuate between mid and favorite and sometimes nah)

Depressed whumpee

Injections

Ehhhhhh- Nah.

That one moment where something sharp and sometimes needle like it slowly gonna pierce an eye

Most Pet whump stuff (some can be mid)

Way to much screaming

I have been seeing a ton of Hunter whump asks in this blog and i love them but, please, cat i requests some Benji who has been hiding a (very seriously infected) wound, or something of that sort (perfect oportunity for Jericho to scold him like the papa bear he is)

"Close your eyes, doll, and feel the pain I gave you. The pain from this very hand." Whumper closed their hand tighter around Whumpee's throat, relishing the hitched breath sounding from the other.

"You're so good for me, all compliant as you look up at me those beautiful petrified eyes."

Whumpee jolted with the lack of oxygen, their hands desperately hitting against Whumper's.

"Pl-please-"

Was all they could manage to rasp before black spots flooded their vision. Whumper didn't let go until they could feel WHumpee begin to go lax in their grip.

Whumpee spluttered and coughed, barely hearing Whumper as they asked, "Who do you belong to, Sweetheart?"

Whumpee's eyes fell to the fresh brand which decorated their ribs, gulping as they rasped, "Y-you....only you..."

Sidekick stumbled backwards as Villain advanced towards them. They could hear their own heartbeat in their ears, thumping loudly as if crying out for help.

“Give it up, kid. Tell me where Hero is and you and I can get along.”

Sidekick took a shaky breath before slowly bring up their fists, ready to fight as they got their footing back, “Not happening,” they rasped, hating themself for how weak their voice sounded, “I'm not going to stop fighting back.”

A cruel smirk cracked along Villain’s lips as they raised their fists too, “Me neither.”

This time, Sidekick lunged forwards first. They went to swing at the villain but their wrist was quickly grabbed, along with their other one before Villain drove their knee up into Sidekick’s stomach.

Sidekick cried out as they hunched over, only resulting in them being kneed in the face. They fell to the floor, not getting any break as Villain was quick to straddle their hips, delivering punch after punch.

Sidekick screamed out, letting out all their energy, grabbing both of Villain’s wrists before throwing them off of them. This time they straddled Villain’s hips. They shot out their witch blade, placing it just at Villain’s throat as they caught their breath, “You- you're going to leave me alone,” Sidekick growled, surprising themself at their own tone, “You're going…gonna leave me and Hero alone.”

Villain simply scoffed, “Oh please, you think you scare me? You're nothing but a weak link to Hero. They only hired you because they felt sorry for you.

And that was when Sidekick did something they were trained not to do. They let it sink in. Their grip on Villain loosened and they gulped. But Villain then turned Sidekick to the floor, snatching the blade from the other’s hand and drove it into Sidekick’s torso, ripping a scream from the other.

“Damn, I really thought we would get along,” Villain hummed, “Welp! See you around kid,,, or not,” Villain giggled before running off to the shadows who engulfed their figure- leaving Sidekick by themself.

Sidekick was gasping for breath, shaking hands pressing down onto their wounds as they broke down into sobs, god, they were pathetic.

Rustling from a nearby bush made Sidekick flinch, only further upsetting their wound as they whimpered. “Ple-please, Villain, I-I swear I don't kno-”

“Sidekick?”

Sidekick’s eyes blew open, “Hero?!”

The hero ran over kneeling beside their sidekick as their face contorted in guilt, “Oh, bud… I'm so sorry…” They took in their sidekick who lay on the ground, sweat coating their face and hair, skin paler than usual and blood everywhere.

“It's okay, you're gonna be okay, buddy.” 

Sidekick whimpered and nodded, leaning into the gentle touch in their sweat-soaked hair, “Hu-hurts..”

“I know… I know, I’ll make it stop hurting soon, we just need to bring you back the the HQ, alright”? Sidekick nodded slowly, their eyes fluttering closed but they opened them back up at Hero’s voice, “Heyhey, don’t be falling asleep on me, it would be one boring car ride back without you talking to me.” 

They both shared a laugh but Sidekick winced as their wound filled with fire. Hero gulped before they held up five of their fingers, “Hey, how many fingers am I holding up, bud?”

Sidekick squinted up as they tried to focus their vision on Hero’s hands, “Fff-fi-five?”

“Yeah! Good job! That’s how many sweets I’ll give you when we get home, got it?” Sidekick smiled and nodded, “Th’nk you..” They were going to be alright… but Villain’s words still cut deep into their heart. They were weak…

This is a little weird but I was making a gifset for the part in Doctor Who The End of Time part 2 when 10 gets trapped in that glass box and blasted with radiation and after staring at this whole scene literally frame by frame for at least an hour I HAVE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS! So please excuse me while I break down all my favorite tiny details about this scene in excruciating detail gif by gif just because I can.

Okay lets start with these gifs here ^^^ LOOK AT THAT PAIN FACE!! GOD! The grimace on his face is amazing. I love it.

A tiny detail in this gif I'd like to point your attention to is the reflection of 10 on the left side the glass when the camera is on Wilf. You can see him start to scream. So good. And the look he gives Wilf? The pain, the watery eyes, the fear. KILL ME

God isn't this just amazing. The way he writhes before releasing another scream of pain. GOD

The slow way he just collapses to the ground as the pain becomes too much. The way his hand slides down the glass as he falls slowly to the ground.

LOOK AT THIS! This is my favorite part okay? Look at how he's curled up on the ground, his hand holding his head and then he grabs at his hair in pain. And he just lays there. In pain.

Even after the machine turns off. He's still laying on the ground in pain with his hand grabbing his hair. It takes a moment before he can let go and pull himself up.

GOD IT'S SO PAINFUL BUT SO FUCKING GOOD I LOVE IT

when you die, all the processes in your body slow down and come to a halt before starting to decay. which means if you were to revive someone from the dead, necromancer-style, you'd potentially have to kickstart their entire system back up from a state of inertia. which means it almost certainly would not be pretty. i'm talking coughing up clots of blood, nauseatingly intense migraines and muscle cramps, and all the sensory overload that would come with firing up the body's engines from frozen cold to fully functioning all guns blazing in the matter of seconds it takes to cast a resurrection spell.
