What is the AU about?
It's about 61 years of an infection AU in a post-movie scenario where Donnie goes to inspect the battlefield and the ruined Technodrome to gather info about the Kraang — he discovers a virus project. Donnie decides to develop it. After a year of doing so, hed creates an AI inspired by Leo that is designed to gather info about the virus and log it. Two years after, two weeks before Mikey's 18th birthday, a lab rat escapes and infects Casey Jr.
Why did I make the AU?
Back in the old days I used to watch MLP infection AUs. I used to love these, however it always lacked logic and biology to me. I was also slightly inspired by WisteriaWhisper's Plague IV ROTTMNT infection AU!
Carnivoritis is my au that I have a deep passion for. It's my first AU that I took seriously and didn't give up on after a week.
I also feel a need to tell about the stories I create.
When did I create the AU?
The AU came to life at October 3rd 2024 when I was almost 14 years old... Or got turned into a ROTTMNT AU that day! It used to be a Sonic au, but since I didn't have much interest in it anymore, I made it into a ROTTMNT AU. Using my old virus project for biology class from ninth grade, I designed it to be an infection AU virus.
How does the infection start?
At first through a bite. The virus (Kraangen-Beta) attacks the eye, usually the right one, just to destroy it in two weeks, creating flower-like, fleshy, pink tentacles with growths that look like red leaves. They gather vitamin D better, that's why the day is much more dangerous than night as the infected prefer to come out at day.
The virus mutates later on.
Who's the narrator of the story?
In the AU, we see everything from the perspective of CV-0, later X-NARDO (the one that Donnie built to log the info about the infection). From fights between infected through civilizations to the Kraang comeback!
What is my goal as I post on this blog?
Well, of course, I plan on joining the TMNT AU Competi(ti)on on the year of 2027! And I have a HUGE passion for telling stories, so here I am!
What do I mean by "Let's make an AU together"?
I've decided to take a different approach to the story. The AU is an open world for everyone to insert their OCs into and make them canon! Of course, that happens when you request for me to accept your OC into my AU!
Your OC will be added from the moment the story is currently on (for example when someone gets infected and you request at that time, your OC enters from that time!) It will also impact the lore a bit :)
How do I request?
It's pretty simple! Private message me on Discord and ask me to let your OC in! It is advised that you have:
- have a full reference of the oc
- personality description
- role
- earlier lore
- requested relationships with canon characters (oc x canon is allowed but the turtle brothers are off limits!)
