Abolish gender.
I think the thing that bothers me most about âterfs donât understand biologyâ is that even if itâs true that sex is more complicated than sperm-producers and egg-producers, that division is still the basis of patriarchy. The ones with the penises decided to oppress and abuse the ones with vaginas and uteruses, whatever you want to call those two categories (though historically they have been called âmenâ and âwomenâ respectively).Crying when radical feminists say so is just shooting the messenger.
not me printing and framing this shit
Roller coaster riders aren't getting off on the roller coaster. Roller coaster riders aren't engaging in sexualized violence against women. The odds of dying on a roller coaster are pretty low (so long as you as the rider and the operator abide by safety precautions and maintain the coaster) whereas chances of injury or death in 'rough sex' is sadly common.
are the women unfamiliar with rejection on the planet with us right now? where are the women who have never felt unwanted or ugly?
like that one post said, anyone who has ever tried to posit the existence of male only issues really doesnât see women as human beings with feelings
Bruh every day I feel unwanted and ugly, men arenât special
For a start, studies have shown that men have a higher self esteem than women worldwide.
Secondly, men don't know what terror is. "Terror" is not what you feel when you're nervous about a woman not being interested in sleeping with you. Terror is what you feel when you're a child bride on your first night with your paedophilic husband. Terror is when your father, uncle and brothers discuss murdering you because you've "dishonored" the family. Terror is when your boyfriend puts his hand around your neck because you threatened to leave him. Terror is when a man follows you home after you refused to answer his "hello what's your name can I have your number do you live nearby?" Ironically, terror is what women often feel when they reject men.
So here we have another case of men trying to discuss human psychology but being too self involved and misogynistic to make any sense.
Going back to this, I didn't pick up on the misogynistic argument: "many women don't get this (...) it stems from overthinking..."
Men think more than women. That's the starting point of their argument.
When youâre accustomed to buying a domestic, sexual, and reproductive servant, free relationships feel like oppression.
I didnât self-identify my way into being called a slut, a whore and a bitch when I was a teenager. It wasnât my self-identification that got me sexually assaulted, degraded, and treated as lesser than. It was my sex. TRAs have lost the plot. I used to be a huge advocate, but itâs clear they hate women just like the rest of this women-hating society. My gender was forced on me by society. There is no difference between race and gender in that regard.
You know how it feels when you first read that men in Afghanistan aren't allowed to treat women, and there aren't enough female doctors to treat other women, and that endometriosis isn't fully understood even though it's a very common disease among women, and then you go on Tumblr and people are laughing at the author for using "female biology" in a post and calling it dogwhistle
Cards Against the Patriarchy
Huge thanks @ everyone who enjoyed my other post - now you too can enjoy the edgy staple of any radfem gathering! This is a feminist take on Cards Against Humanity (rules if you've not played). I've uploaded the text for the cards here - simply copy and paste the text for the white and black cards into a card generator and you're good to go! I used this for my irl cards, but there's lots out there, including ones that let you play online.
Feel free to take out any that don't work for you - the deck was made for/with my friends, so it's UK-biased and has some inside jokes - and add in any of your own! Please reply or send a message with any good suggestions, the game is constantly being updated. And please post pictures from any games you play!!! Have fun!! <3
oh this is sick!!!

"misandry" is just as much of a real problem as "reverse racism" or "heterophobia". Which is to say that, it is not a real systemic issue, and is almost always a non-threatening response to the *actual* systemic oppression faced by a group
imagine feeling unsafe bc you saw harry potter merch in a store
but any woman who feels on edge seeing playboy merch, hustler merch, pornhub merch, hypersexualized edits of Marilyn Monroe, or other misogynistic crap is overreacting/a feminâ˘zi
here's my take no one asked for on "less important" feminist issues:
obviously, there are some feminist issues that are more important and more serious than others. helping women in more oppressive countries is a more important issue than makeup. prostitution is a more important issue than how women are treated in media.
but a) it's all connected. fighting against "less important" issues is connected to fighting against more important issues.
b) the small issues are still issues that need fixing. i'm not saying only focus on the small issues, but they also need to be fixed.
c) talking about rape and femicide and women not even being able to speak is heavy. it's difficult. it takes a toll on your mental health. most days i can handle it. some days, talking/reading/learning about or standing up against those terrible things is way too much for me. some days it would send me over the edge into a incapacitated state, and then i wouldn't do anything at all. some days, all i can handle is talking about the smaller stuff. some days all i can handle is talking about makeup or the bechdel test or our treatment of female celebrities. and talking about those things is better than me not doing anything feminist that day
d) there are little girls, maybe not on this platform, but who might see this stuff, who might not be ready to know the worse stuff, and might be starting to realize how fucked up the smaller stuff is, and if we never talk about the smaller stuff, not only will it not be fixed, but those little girls might not be introduced to feminism, or even validated that their sense that life isn't fair for them is correct.
obviously, it's not smart to only talk about littler issues. but they're also important, so i don't think it's great to shame feminists for talking about less serious issues even when larger issues are happening. it's all about balance
The way abuse fetishists get away with what they do is insane and reflective of cultural misogyny beyond that sphere. men mistreating women is not uncommon, and postmodernism has helped sanitize male violence even more. when you're a woman being abused because it's clearly trauma bonding or you've been groomed or there's something wrong, It's probably uncomfortable to accept that you were being abused to begin with and that it was wrong. because the culture at large doesn't really care. It's already uncomfortable to talk about sexual matters in public and so the abuse that women suffer often remains private and it's only shared with close friends because it's so embarrassing women are afraid of the repercussions of making whatever they've suffered public.
abusive men get called out, they get reported to the law, only to marry women with children and be a risk to them It's just insane.
I marvel at how much vitriol TIMs and trans activists have for TERFs that is never shown towards conservative males. TERFs typically don't care about what trans-identified people do as long as TIMs are not coming into women and girls' spaces, whereas a lot of conservative males would be happy to see them dead or stripped of every one of their most basic human rights. But I don't see them carrying signs saying "kill all conservatives," "kill all cis men," or anything close to the vile crap they reserve for us. They're such cowards.
THERE. IT. IS.
Hating women was always easier than hating men
I mean tbh why dont you guys hate conservatives also? They're the ones who want to take your abortion rights, they're the ones who want to take your right to vote, they're the ones who actively enforce the patriarchy anyways
Bro what do you mean???? We do hate conservatives????? Why would you think that radical feminists don't hate conservatives???????
Why dont you think trans people dont hate conservatives just as much as they hate terfs?
Every sign at a protest says "kill terfs" or some other such shit, not "kill conservatives" or "kill the lawmakers" or anything remotely similar. The hate the JKR gets online is insane compared to those who actually are doing the material harm. She gets death and rape threats on the daily, and had an active serious bomb threat at her home once, meanwhile the Republican lawmakers making fucked up laws like the ones in Texas get a vague "wow this is so fucked up and evil" online. Back when I was a TRA I made my screen name on Nintendo "die terfs" (kill terfs was too long, and they don't allow 'violent terms' anymore anyway, but still). Almost all of my "anti-transphobia memes" on my phone that I would use in replies were directed at "terfs". I didn't even actually know what constituted "terf" ideology at the time (though I sure fucking thought that I did) but I still was like that.
It also certainly never struck me that, in a battle of things I thought were evil at the time, the group advocating for women's rights and gay rights and every other leftist cause but see the ideology surrounding modern trans identity specifically as regressive is actually inherently a million times better than the conservative men trying to take away the rights of every marginalized group and then some. It never struck me that even when conservatives ""borrow"" talking points that are considered 'terfy', they're not doing it at all for the same reason that feminists are not even close. They don't give a fuck about women's sports, women's spaces, or women's rights in general. They just say those things as an afterthought to justify their real beliefs, which is that, to them, trans people are like gay², and therefore evil. That, and they hate gender nonconformity and are so stupid as to think that they can make it go away by forcing people out of transition. Conservatives are doing material harm to everyone, and they're certainly not on the side of radical feminists at all. Yet still, the women deemed "terfs" are treated like THE enemy. Like take a look around you, dude

i kind of resent the idea that heterosexual or het partnered women are less likely or able to be committed feminists than those who do not engage in relationships with men. like yes ofc there are lots of jakey defenders but i also think at times their exposure to men can give them unique vulnerabilities and insights which can make them the most staunch feminists. and at the same time there are some lesbian or bi women who will talk about how men are soft harmless good boys bc they havenât had a extended interaction with one in years.

"Falcon River at the very first Michigan Womynâs Music Festival in 1976." from an interview for the SLFA Herstory Project:
"To be outdoors and to take off my shirt in front of a couple of thousand other women who had also removed their shirts in defiance of men with guns and telescopes that were lined up on the road surrounding the MichFest Land, that for me was the first experience of being out and proud, and dancing and drumming, and just feeling ecstatic. My memory of it is more of a feeling than an actual âthis happened, then that happened.â Itâs the feeling of really touching into my own soul, my own womenâs soul, and touching the souls of all the women around me expressing our ecstasy. It formed and shaped the rest of my life, and it still does."
