Centrism is dead. It's a cover for cowards.
Better a centrist than an extremist of either stripe. The world is not black and white.
I might not share your love of late-night talk shows, but I will defend to the death your right to watch them
Long before she was Una Chin-Riley in Strange New Worlds, here is Number One's profile from Who's Who in Star Trek #2 (DC Comics, 1987)
Opt-out "features" keep coming out on everything. I have to comb through settings on every new app/device to reclaim as much privacy and control as they will allow me to. Everything keeps becoming more "user friendly" at the expense of user control. Its becoming near impossible to buy basic electronics that don't come with a useless computer attached that will inevitability fail and brick your appliance.
It's also spreading places it shouldn't be. new Cars that have subscription services for basic use. Kitchen appliances that need to be hooked up via Bluetooth to work... And NONE of it can be repaired. Nobody is allowed to fix their own electronics. You have to send it back to the manufacturer, just so you can get a "refurbished" device. We are living in a time of Planned Obsolescence and we are really fucking tired of it.

Hey, in the new Star Trek alternate reality the redshirts don’t always die!
As IDW rolls out a new Redshirts series, a reminder that in the old Orci/Kurtzman-approved Kelvin Timeline series it wasn't the redshirts who died!
Revenge of the Sith (2005) | Dir. George Lucas
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
Or an Obi-Wan, when talking about the Sith.
Newsflash: You don’t have to choose between the Snyderverse and the Gunnverse. There’s room for both.
And both directors “understand” Superman. They just have different interpretations. (If it’s good enough for Bats, why not Supes?)
I may prefer the Snyderverse but there’s a lot to like about Gunn’s version. Plus it’s the one we have now so let’s make the best of it!

I’m pretty sure that Australians don’t have more then maybe 30-50k MAX people on tumblr. Like American had some 30 million users in 2020 (aka basically probably peak over the last 7 2018-2025) while Australia only has 26-28million people depending on who you ask (27 to be safe) so I’m just genuinely curious how many of us there must be on here.
If you Currently live in OR were born / raised in Australia and ID as (born/raised + ID, as I know a lot of born/raised here don’t ID as Aussie) you are Australian in this poll!
Are you Australian?
Yes, I am
No, I am not

Many think Palpatine would have won either way, but Mace had his measure. It took Anakin’s intervention to tip the balance, hence the tragedy.
