Imagine Shane and Ilya's adolescent daughter accidentally seeing a '🥰😘' message from a woman named "Lily" on Shane's phone (because OF COURSE they never changed their contact names. IT'S FOR THE MEMORIES) and she is so heartbroken thinking that her dad is cheating and destroying the family. She starts acting cold and ignores Shane and they are like:

"Ah, she is teenager🤷‍♂️ Svetlana warned me about this"

After a couple days they go to talk about her poor behavior and she just explodes and says "Papa, dad is cheating on you with a girl named Lily" and they are silent for a beat and a second later Ilya clutches Shane by the arm and says "YOU WHAT" before he starts laughing.

They end up telling her the whole story about their fake names.

She apologizes to shane about her attitude.

You hear Ilya from down the hall saying "my girl has my back"

You think he looked distantly out a window, thinking of the relationship he could have had but destroyed with ilya? You think he wanted to call him? Do you think he didn't care at all?

The sky had grown warm even as it turned cold, the cloudless night unfurling into something dusky instead of dark. It was as if the sun had singed the horizon in the wake of its falling, leaving behind something burnt and beautiful. The cold lightly stung at Yuuri’s cheeks, but his hand was warm, fingers intertwined with Viktor’s.

“Ah, it’s a pretty night isn’t it?” Viktor was saying to the open air, lips unthinkingly curled into a smile.

Yuuri turned his head, leveling his gaze over the stretch of water beside them. The lake was an oil painted view of the horizon; the lights of buildings smeared across the surface in soft golds, the whole of the scorched sky tinting the reflections with sepia. It barely stirred in the calm of the night, only discreet flutters of almost-wind teasing at the surface.

“It is,” Yuuri agreed belatedly, his voice barely loud enough to overcome the sound of their feet shuffling over concrete.
