So my mom was giving me a cooking lesson yesterday and we were making pasta

We had to focus on something else for a second, and couldn’t watch for if the water with the noodles boiled over, so she put a wooden spoon on it. I asked why the wooden spoon would keep it from boiling and she said “idk it just does”??????? What do you mean a wooden spoon can just force the pasta water to obey???? Why is it magical??? Has this been studied??????????

I would enjoy some suggestions!

So I have some OCs that I want to turn into a story (I imagine it as an indie show but idk how realistic especially cause my art is shit let alone my animation and I’m not getting a paycheck so I can’t pay someone else ;w;) It’s about

The Four Horsemen of the apocalypse! They are college aged (because I want ships to be a possible thing without people being too weird about it, even though they’ve been alive for centuries upon centuries by then and just age slowly) My characters are like mini gods that were taken from various points in time to be some sort of Demi gods. It’s very queer, and the main character (Morgan; Death) is black even though I’m white as paper because I set my mind to it so if anyone has any tips in writing my main character that would be cool too…

I know it says five horsemen it’s cause I added “Chaos” (Morgan’s love interest)

I want everyone to know that baby blitzo was right to be proud of worm horse because between worm horse and banana pudding, worm horse is the harder one to make, one may say neigh impossible.

Banana pudding is a pretty standard balloon animal that you can make right now out of a single balloon.

(sorry I ran out of red balloons making swords for the kids the other day, and yes, I know his tail should have been longer, but I'm running out of balloons so you get what you get)

But if you try to make worm horse the way baby blitzo made him...

There's nothing to keep the shape. As soon as I let go of worm horse this happens.

Worm Horse becomes Long Horse. The twists that you put in to form the body and tail come undone.

Now, say you worked backwards and blew up first the tail and knotted it, then the body and knotted that, and then you blew up the rest of the balloon and made the head. That also doesn't work.

Yes, you get the body and tail segments but it still won't keep it's upright shape.

As far as I can tell this is the closest you can get to a real life single balloon worm horse without resorting to taping the segments into place.

You have to fold the balloon over to make the body and then twist it through the body gap to make an upright tail. But that means three balloon segments make up the body of worm horse instead of one.

So baby blitzo was out there making impossible worm horses and he should be proud of it.

Don’t try and trick yourself into being happy. It won’t work that way. No one can simply “choose happiness.” The best we can do is have hope, and take time to engage with the things and people we love. Anyone telling you to just “be happy” may have good intentions, but they are ultimately hurting you. It’s difficult, I know, but it will be worth it. Work at your own pace. There’s still time. You deserve to be happy.

This is directed to people with depression, such as myself, but it can apply to anyone who needs it.
