There are days when I want to just sit down and watch TV. I want to rewatch Dragon Ball with you. You may not be super into it, but you have no idea how much it means to me.
There are days when I want to cook with you I’m not the best cook, but I want to learn with you.
There are days when I want you to come home and wrap your arms so tightly around me after a long day. I’d make a face not even I have seen so happy and full of love.
There are days when I need your comfort the most. I’ll stay stone-faced, in bed for hours scrolling on my phone, watching videos I won’t remember in 5 minutes. Eventually, I connect a thought that falls and hangs on the spiderweb of useless information I’m subjecting myself to. I cry again, then I think to myself “when was the last time I cried with sound?” I don’t have an answer. If I cry and no one hears it. Did I even cry at all? That’s when that thought overtakes the spider web as my tears dry. “At the end of the day, you are alone.”
I’ve never told anyone these feelings before, but I want you to know them because you are my most special person. Someone I can finally open up to and still be loved just the same. So I’m still searching for you. I hope you’re searching for me too. I hope to meet you very soon. I hope to meet you.
