In SG1, they don't say "I love you." They say, "its a funny story. I was driving around and then, um, I drove to your house." And I think that's beautiful.

Stargate SG-1, 7.15, Chimera
I can't tell you how much I like this about Stargate and Star Trek
Stargate SG-1, 03.16 Urgo
Guys, guess who just discovered Stargate SG-1.
Okay so we'll talk, I came across Stargate yesterday afternoon and tell my while I'm already on Episode 9 of Season 1... LIKE, WHERE THE FUCK HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! No, I'm sorry but I'm being so serious when I say, the series holds up. Season 1 came out in 1997 and for sci-fi of the time, the graphics are actually amazing! When I tell you I squeeled when the fucking goa'uld parasite came out of that woman's stomach in Episode 1! Aint no way, 1997 graphics should be gorier then 2026. Modern Day Sci-fi you need to step your puss up bitch.
Anyway, guess I have a new show that'll become my entire personality for the next 12 months!
Edit: Probably should have said, my fav episode so far is The Nox!
Stargate SG-1, 05.18 The Warrior

Everything about Pete's proposal to Sam was so strange and evil. Like why was she wearing a Hilary Clinton outfit. Why did he take her to a children's playground to eat a hot dog in her hilary clinton outfit. Why did he propose to her at the children's playground while they were eating hotdogs. Why would she ever say yes to that guy. Why.
"what do you do for a living?" Oh I am a professional hopeless romantic and I read books and cry in my free time.
The local oldies station just played "All Star" by Smashmouth. Which was made in 1999 and popularized again in "Shrek" in 2001.
"All Star" is an oldie.
Ace!John Sheppard is a fun headcanon to play with but a load bearing facet of such a headcanon is that he would Not know what that is. Absolutely crucial that that 30-40 year old man has no clue there's a word for it. Living with soldiers he is convinced everyone is obviously playing it up for laughs. Bluescreens at the notion that people do in fact feel sexual attraction Like That. Well he's certainly never going to examine that about himself. Like ever. Time to put on a show Shep
