Engineering, Electronics, and Echocolate cake

deciding to bake every day (or two oops) before and on halloween something halloween themed without using the internet for a recipe. then after octobers done i’ll do the same but for christmas lol i tried to lock in this evening and do some engineering study (i have math work to do but in this state youd need to pay me like $1000 to actually do it), eventually my back started hurting so i just spent a bit continuing the slow process of cleaning my room (i organised my desk a bit and put away my random fabric scraps, tomorrow im gonna finally tackle the pile of rubbish i have in the middle of my floor, and probably put all the books i dont need in a little library) one step at a time, eh? its so hot here, i havent been able to think all day, and its only october so how we’re looking for first week of december….lets just say that im glad all our exams are early in the term because of that ive been obsessing over Nine Puzzles again, soo yeah planning on that tomorrow too

Finished my english assessment! Skipped one lecture to make sure I had time to get it nicely proofread, but then was able to go to the two others and a tut.

Didn't get time for anything else, but tbh feel pretty accomplished. Feeling good about getting my presentation formalised tomorrow, I keep having to remind myself that its actually quite informal and I don't need as much done as I feel like I should do.

I've been thinking a lot about next year, and I'm really excited to do o week again, and meet the new ressies. College has been really good, and I'm excited to do all the early year stuff feeling less new and uncertain.

The autumn weather has been fantastic for my focus and mood. Studying has been so fulfilling lately--I really wasn't feeling motivated today, but every time I sat down and completed a session I really enjoyed it.

Completed:

Studied some material on Actor-Network Theory

Statistics mock exam

Drafted summary section for a critical review

Read a paper and made notes for my report

Tomorrow's plans:

Draft the full report

Draft critique section of critical review

Re-take statistics mock exam

Any other reading I can manage!

finished my first week of uni by almost dying from boredom during today’s pedagogy lecture (very glad I can watch the recorded lectures starting next week) & trying to get back to life by having lunch with my friends. Tomorrow I’ll go to my towns bookfair & hopefully finally manage to call R about the whole bank debacle as I have to figure out what to do in regards to my payment. Other than that I still have to work my way through 100 pages of reading for wednesdays pedagogy lectures, retake my linguistics notes and figure out how to get the materials for my integrated language skills class…

also: meeting up with a friend on monday & probably working on tuesday! still have to make a proper plan so I have enough time to get through the reading.
