A Flying Leap (Off the Helicarrier) (ao3) - isaDanCurtisproduction

T, 29k
Summary: Phil Coulson and Clint Barton have a certain way of communicating with each other that causes a lot of miscommunication and misadventures, at least on the Avengers part. Everyone is confused, and somehow amidst all the mess, these two idiots find time to fall in love
A Good Feeling (ao3) - dentalfloss
T, 81k
Summary: “You work for SHIELD” Barton spat the agencies title at Coulson as though it were the nastiest cuss he knew. “We have nothing more to talk about.” Which was all good and fine, except-
“I have some things to discuss with you, actually,” Tony said and Clint’s bruised and swollen gaze turned towards him. “Many things. Nice things,” he tagged on when Clint’s gaze narrowed darkly. The kid might be passing out in slow motion before them but Tony was well aware he was still a threat and he made no move to approach. “Let me help,” he insisted anyway.
Or: the one where Clint may be a pretty formidable assassin for hire, but he was broke and his brother needed help he couldn’t afford so he needed a legitimate job for a little while. How fortunate Stark Tower was hiring.
Bound to You (ao3) - orderlychaos

T, 9k
Summary: A wave of tingling energy rushed up Clint’s arm, and his vision swam, although that might have been because of the blow to his head.
Clint barely had time to think, this isn’t good, before everything faded to black.
While on a mission, Clint accidentally touches the weird Asgardian artifact he'd been sent to retrieve, and as usual in Clint's life, this leads to awkward complications. But suddenly soul-bonding to his husband isn't nearly as bad as the rest of the Avengers finding out that Clint is married before Clint has a chance to actually tell them.
Falling in Love is Hard on the Knees (ao3) - orderlychaos

Summary: Clint Barton first met Phil Coulson minutes after he'd literally fallen through a warehouse roof in Estonia and really, that set the tone for their whole relationship; a relationship that over the years would grow to include friendship, respect, smartass comments, a redheaded assassin, slightly terrifying conversations with Nick Fury and a whole lot of pining.
Falling in love really isn't easy for SHIELD agents.
Falling Off the Face of the Earth (ao3) - Teeelsie

Summary: Bucky and Clint fall into each other. Bad shit happens. Then it all works out in the end.
Indebted (ao3) - Kjam

A fancy world for slave. Anyone who owes money to the government becomes one until they work their debt off. Clint is trapped in the system, working at a shitty café for an even shittier boss. The only silver lining is Phil, the sexy accountant who likes to get his caffeine fix there. Clint is sure he can eventually convince him to go on a date with him.
Things are going well until the Russians show up, for some reason intent on killing Phil, and turn the Café into a shoot-out. And of course, Clint gets involved.
Little Hawk (ao3) - EifanGale, TheologyDiscography

Summary: Clint thinks he's found another abused, abandoned dog while on a mission. Nothing unusual, much to Natasha's dismay. But that.... That's not a dog, and Natasha and Clint suddenly have priorities much more important than completing a mission.
Mama Coulson Knows Best (ao3) - BeneficialAddiction

T, 60k
Summary: Agent Phil Coulson has always been entirely honest with his parents about his work. He hasn’t necessarily gone into detail, but they know enough. The one thing he will wax poetic about is his asset Clint Barton, the sniper known as Hawkeye. When a mission gone wrong affords Clint a look into the mysterious hidden life of his favorite handler, Mama Coulson gets a look of her own at the man who's so obviously captured her son's heart.
She for one couldn’t be happier - but these two boys need all the help they can get.
After all, Mama Coulson knows best.
Nobody Lost, Nobody Found (ao3) - ClaraxBarton

Summary: "Look, dude, I get it. You’re fucked-up. HYDRA fucked you up. I’ve been there. But you’re my fucking Soul Mate!"
“I can kill you. I could kill you without even realizing what I was doing. I’m not fucked-up, I’m a monster. I’m a nightmare. You can’t be here. You can’t- All the people I’ve killed- I will not murder my Soul Mate too. Not after everything else I’ve-”
Clint worked his left hand between their bodies and managed to land a punch to the man’s right side, forcing him to shift his weight, and Clint brought his right hand down on the place where the man’s metal arm met his torso - hidden by the shirt he wore, but on full display in the video Clint had watched.
The man released Clint with a grunt of pain, and Clint pressed his advantage, landing another punch to his abdomen, backing him up against the opposite side of the RV and then pressing the kitchen knife he had pocketed while cleaning up earlier to the man’s throat.
“Like I said, I’m not a Boy Scout. I’m plenty dangerous myself. We clear on that?”
Pavlov was a Jerk (ao3) - BeneficialAddiction

Summary: Clint Barton: World's Greatest Marksman, submissive, high-functioning disaster.
When Clint comes in to SHIELD he's been on his own for almost four years, and he's been keeping himself level using conditioning techniques he's learned from a lifetime of abuse and neglect. Phil Coulson is the first to notice the imbalance – Clint's system seems to be all punishment, no rewards - but Phil's tastes aren't exactly average and it's none of his business anyway. Certain that what he wants is not at all congruent with what Clint deserves Phil keeps his distance, until a mission gone wrong sends the archer tumbling into an nasty case of subdrop and neither of them have any other choice but to take a chance on the other.
Seams and Scars (ao3) - Lise
T, 8k
Summary: When Loki comes through the Tesseract portal, he doesn't say anything about Asgard, or ants, or hearts. He doesn't say anything at all. (With his lips sewn shut like that, how could he?)
This changes more than you'd think.
Second Time Around (ao3) - BeneficialAddiction

T, 74k
Summary: Upon learning that Phil Coulson is still alive, something breaks in Clint, maybe permanently. Leaving behind his team, his home, and his identity as Hawkeye, he falls back on an old name, living separately from the Avengers until SHIELD demands they begin looking for someone to take the missing archer's place and their sights turn to the rogue assassin Ronin.
What are the chances of being recruited by a shady government division of superheroes twice?
Spider-Man: Christmas with Two Hawks (ao3) - KarmaSpidr
kate/peter
G, 48k
Summary: Peter is alone. He lost everyone. But maybe after meeting a soon-to-be hero at a steak out-turn raid, that might change. After all, no one should have to spend Christmas alone, and two Hawks and a mafia should be enough company... right?
Take All The Courage (ao3) - prettybirdy979
T, 16k
Summary: When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.
Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.
(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)
What you can't fake (ao3) - Ideops
N/R, 6k
Summary: “Barton is supposed to stay away from any physical activity to let his injuries from his last mission heal completely,” Coulson informs him.
Fury feels a headache coming. Had he been a lesser man, he would have already either banged his head against the first hard surface he could reach or straight out left his position of director of SHIELD. Instead, he simply poured himself a glass of whiskey. “What are the chances he actually does that?”
“Pretty high, since he won’t risk losing full mobility in his hands.”
Oh, this headache is definitely going to be terrible, with or without that bottle of whiskey.
“And what are the chances of SHIELD surviving a bored Barton for several months?”
Coulson doesn’t respond.
Fury curses.
“But if we want to trade a bad situation with another,” Coulson adds, “I might have a proposition.”
Fury curses some more.
