This whole time, my preferred story if things HAD to go the way of Celine actually being responsible for Miyeong’s death, I wanted it to go more or less like this (and I am SO happy how close I got)

They may choose to delve into this in the sequel, and it could be a good source of conflict. To have Celine, who fucked up. Like really fucked up. But her love for Rumi is undeniable, even with her reservations about the patterns.
