Right now my main two fandoms are Star Wars and Hermitcraft :D

okay, this may be a bit of a hot take, but I think parts of Minecraft are *supposed* to look bad.

Like, people complain about how the terrain is janky and the structures are boring, and like, yeah, that’s why you’re here. To make them look better. To fashion the world to your own design.

Because think about it. The amount of times I have seen someone redesign a village is at least in the dozens; but if villages looked good, you never would! You’d leave them as they are, and the rest of us would never see all these beautiful designs. Same goes for terrain. Yes, it’s a pain, I know, I’ve done it. But I have seen some utterly jaw-dropping terrain (goodtimeswithscar’s, anyone?). If the chunk of marble looked good enough, you wouldn’t carve a statue out of it, you know?

Maybe I’m just seeing this from a builder’s perspective. It’s a sandbox game after all; you can play any way you want and have whatever opinions you want. But these are my opinions.

Xisuma has curly hair.

However, he's really bad at taking care of them, with the whole overworked admin thing, as well as wearing a helmet all the time.

So, the other curly hermits (Gem, Cleo, Wels, etc) have curl nights, where they just take care of their curls (it's mainly just a way to both spend time together, and get X to care for himself)

They do have to do it at X's base, where the air can be filtered to end astromphere, as it's breathable to voidwalkers and non-voidwalkers, unlike pure void air.

I'm feeling sentimental and poetic about stuff so here goes this.

I'm truly in love with my little corner of the world.

And I don't mean just my house or the area that is my yard.

I mean the surrounding area that I get to call my home, the woods by my house, the river that flows through those woods into town.

Where it seems like the wind that blows through the trees in the dead of night is singing a lullaby to all that hear it, soothing minds with its gentle but firm breeze.

The way there seems to be something protecting my little area of the larger scale of the earth. Like something is watching over this little pocket, making sure it's as it should be. Untouched. Cared for. Loved as it is.

Anyways that's my thoughts for the night :)

Whenever Xisuma needs to go to a meeting where he might be in danger he always brings one or more of the hermits with him to act as his guards. Usually he chooses Doc, because 1. Doc isn't normally allowed out of hermitcraft without an escort (and he causes problems when he's cooped up for too long) and 2. There is nothing scarier than seeing Docm77 being protective, he's hissing and growling the entire time.

Xisuma refuses to use handcuffs or a muzzle or any of the restraints that he's supposed to put on Doc because it's inhumane and cruel, but that just makes it even more terrifying for whoever they are meeting with. Plus you would be less scared of a guard dog that was leashed and muzzled, no matter how much it growls and pulls on the leash, than a guard dog that acts the same way without.

The Hermits have a rotation for who will go off server to buy more tea for X. They make sure that X has a fully stocked tea cabinet at least once a month. It's one of the little ways they look out for their overworked admin. X doesn't know who keeps restocking his tea, just that he hasn't run out in years
