This is one of the cutest Data momens IMO and I've never heard anyone talk about it
Necessary and sufficient
Adding a second lock was not necessary.
Understanding the difference between necessary and sufficient is necessary, but not sufficient to earn a math degree.
Part 2
Gladly!
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS - 1.02 Eyes Wide Open
Yes, this is my circus, those are my monkeys, and yes I deliberately gave them those flamethrowers.
I literally said, "Are you kidding me?" IN THE GASPED ADMIRING WAY.
explained to an 8 year old that once a fruit is ripe you only have so much time until it rots so you have to eat it soon and she said so i'll never be able to keep it perfect like this forever? no and there are about a million pieces of art for you unrelatedly
really tired of seeing the idea that women & girls are less likely to be diagnosed with autism because it "presents differently" so widely accepted even in progressive spaces
it is also widely accepted that women get raises less often because they don't ask as much as men. this is objectively not true.
it is also widely accepted that women are more talkative than men. this is objectively not true.
it is also widely accepted that women are taken less seriously when speaking because their speech patterns are associated with a "lack of confidence". this is objectively not true. [1][2][3]
every time we talk about gender discrimination, people look for an explanation that starts with women's behavior.
and every fucking time, actual research shows that across the board, women actually don't behave that differently from men.
women aren't diagnosed less often with autism due to "presenting differently". it's gendered medical neglect, and weaponized diagnoses disproportionately applied to women (e.g. BPD, HPD, bipolar, etc.)
THANK YOU
Look, as a kid, I had the stereotypical 'boy autism'. I was not fucking good at masking. I was not using my 'superior feminine social skills' or whatever to learn the rules of the playground and hide my autism from the doctors.
I was sitting in the corner rocking and talking to myself, putting my toys into regimented lines, throwing up every time I ate anything with the Wrong taste or texture and lashing out at classmates who upset me because I didn't know how to use my words.
My mother claims that she first realised I might be autistic when somebody suggested that my brother might be autistic, and maybe she should read up on the condition, and then she got hold of a list of symptoms and realised that it was literally just a list of things about me.
Everyone fucking noticed. The kids at school noticed. The teachers noticed. The educational psychologist noticed. Like again, short of wearing a sign around my neck saying 'ATTENTION: MAY CONTAIN AUTISM', there really wasn't any way I could have been more obvious about it.
I apparently told one of the doctors that the reason I didn't have a friend at school was because the school had an odd number of students and it was therefore impossible for everyone to pair off without there being an outlier. That is… not a neurotypical line of reasoning.
Anyways, I didn't get a diagnosis until I was seventeen. I did get incredibly close at the age of ten, but was turned away at literally the final hurdle.
Why? Because the consultant in charge of making the final decision openly admitted that he didn't believe that girls could get autism.
some people will be like “I wonder why fanfic writers don’t share their works anymore😔” and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write — as a hobby, for their own enjoyment — with them for free.
some people really don’t realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you… and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free
“almost 1 year is a lil too much for me” fuck off. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didn’t act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didn’t update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they don’t owe your entitled ass anything.
you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artist’s love and passion. it’s dystopian.
hey guys never forget that black queer people exist and they deserve the sunshine just as much as white queers do EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR BLACK QUEER PEOPLE WOOOOOOOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i had three fic ideas. wrote one. i still have three fic ideas. this is not how math is supposed to work.
can this post please back up it’s too close to home
I had five ideas, I wrote two, now I have seven
Listen. They’re called “plot bunnies” for a reason, and it’s not just because they hop around all over your brain demanding attention.

"are you gonna take those pills the rest of your life?" you mean my molecules? why surely you wouldn't deprive me of my molecules. they are shaped exactly just so, you see. my molecules
do you know how hard someone had to work to make my molecules into their molecule shapes??
they invented a new shape of molecule just for me and you want me to what, not absorb it???
reblog to remind somebody about their molecules
