How do you know you're not Asexual? Maybe you just haven't met the right nobody.
THE FLAILING AT THE END-
starting the countdown until gaylors start saying that Adam Sandler officiating Taylor's wedding (sorry if this is how you found out) is actually proof that it's a sham because it's a reference to I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), in which Sandler and Kevin James play heterosexual men who enter a mutually beneficial fake gay marriage, a dynamic that Taylor is inverting as a queer woman pretending to be straight while cleverly flagging the obvious farce to those with the eyes to see
is Travis gay as well or is he oblivious to her awesome and undeniable subversions of heterosexual marriage. just so I can get a grasp on the situation and all
Travis is not part of this
we should forcefem Travis

very strange when people online assume being a trans man means you pass as male irl. ma’am i’m 5”0. i look like somebody shrink wrapped a middle school butch lesbian. second best case scenario well-meaning cis women clock i’ve got Something gender going on and start spontaneously they-themming me (wrong pronouns). best case scenario people assume i’m a twelve year old boy. neither of these happen often, more often than not people think i’m a weird looking woman. that’s just how it is at this point. i can recognize there’s a certain privilege inherent to being trans in a not-transfeminine direction but Do Not tell me i have the same life as a cis man like come on
btw as someone who does usually pass as a man irl (albeit a short one), it's still a limited privilege. for one, if anyone sees any of my official documents (passport, state id, etc), it's game over. and I have been in plenty of situations where i've listened to people talk about how gross and evil trans people are and sat there wondering if I will get assaulted or killed for trying to create a teachable moment.
granted, it is still a privilege. but i also think part of it, a part that is usually ignored in these conversations (not necessarily by op just in general) is that i don't just pass as a man, i pass as a white man. and that makes a pretty big difference. i am guessing my experiences with male privilege/passing/etc are vastly different than those of a trans man of color.
yep, pretty much

I love how Zohran Mamdani is wearing a suit everywhere. And if he has anything else he puts it ON TOP of the suit. A basketball jersey. A high-vis vest. All worn over the suit. He’s like the mayor character in a cartoon who’s always dressed as The Mayor. If I didn’t know who he was and he biked past me in NYC I’d be like holy shit was that the mayor
he jumped in a pool in the suit yesterday to celebrate the public pools opening for the summer btw
it IS drag—"Respectability Politics" drag, and I'm damn sure that it's DEEPLY strategic.
