Capucine Smythe-Allen is born to Marianne-Colette and David Allen Smythe on a stormy, windy night in late August. She's a fat, pale, freckled baby, her hair dark like her mother's but her face identical to her father's own baby pictures. She's perfect. The first person to hold her is her mother, sweaty and tired; David's a close second before the nurses whisk her off to check and make sure mother and daughter are both healthy. He'd been twelve and foolishly naive, unknowing of the world's judging eyes. All he'd known was that Maman didn't want him in France anymore, and his friends didn't talk to him anymore, and he'd just wanted to be back with his parents together, instead of in a foreign country without Maman at home and Abuelita and Mamie a train ride away.

... He hadn't expected this. Dehant had landed in front of the screaming crowd, looking around. They'd called for their partner, La Vida stumbling out of the building, and the relief that had washed over Dehant's countanence had been nearly palpable. They'd run for it, catching her easily, and tugged her full-face mask off. They'd cupped her face and leaned their foreheads together, La Vida clearly murmuring something to them before their laughter reaches the crowd. Dehant had pulled at their own mask, tugging back their hood to reveal- A very familiar head of curly hair, swept back into a low ponytail. Cally physically stumbles back, bouyed up only by the crowd as they rush forward. Dehant - it can't be, he tells himself, there's no way - kisses their partner full-on, and his eyes widen. A squeal burst out of his mouth, because his best friend finally found someone after years of aggressive longing, and he'd been so - stupidly foolishly - excited and he'd leapt forward with the equally-excited crowd to congratulate them- Only to crash right back when La Vida turns around. It's May, and he doesn't know what to do with that. This is what five and a half years gets you, says the nasty voice in his head, this is what your loyalty and love is worth, Cally Knowes.

Atsushi prepares to attack, to defend himself, because even if it's been two years since he arrived in Yokohama the Port Mafia are still terrifying, but Executive Nakahara looks as though he couldn't care less about him. On the contrary, he's glancing around. He looks… worried? "Excuse me," he says to a passing woman, "have you seen my son? He's about a foot and a half tall, blue-brown heterochromic and has red hair. Freckles. About a foot and a half tall." When she shakes her head, Executive Nakahara Chuuya looks- Not scared, because Atsushi genuinely thinks fear should be scared of him, but something almost approximating it.

Or, grocery shopping can be hard as a single parent with a child that is a little hellion. Especially when their other parent is wholly useless.

I need people to understand that I want more scary Stiles Stilinski. I'm feral for this little sopping wet cat of a man whom everyone underestimates until he goes from 0 to 100. One second he's being a little damsel in distress but then one of his friends gets hurt and suddenly he stands in a field of gore cackling at the moon because the bloodlust has driven him nearly insane. Bonus points if Derek is there and matches his freak.

stiles is a little manic sometimes, but here? his pack lies around him, their bodies breaking under the strain of the magician in front of them, and he shatters. the binds wrapping his magic burst under his angry assault and whips out, arcs of lightning from the invisible storm crackling down onto the invading coven. three witches lie dead when the smoke clears, their bodies damn near unrecognizable.

This has taken forever for me to get back to. Tag games are fun, but I feel like I have to explain that my musical library is still in the process of being organized and moved from one device to another. I have only started to put back the thousands of songs I have bought in there because I’m picky about how they’re downloaded (it matters to me, okay? And it takes me weeks). “With you?” Dazai leans down, leans close, bites a kiss next to his lips. “Always, partner.” Chuuya grins, harsh against him as he pulls his partner back down. They live like this, wild and free and open; the only one either trusts - can trust, will trust - is the other. They’re partners in crime, partners in life and flight and the open roads.

It cannot be that important to go over, damnit. Another eye twitch. "Oh, ye grantors of dark disgrace." Arahabaki's snarl whispers through the air, almost too low-high to be heard, but Dazai's wholly used to it, and he half-panics, reaching out to nullify it. "I need to find me a new fucking man!"

J: What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it?

... Yeah. I mean. Secret relationship and angst??? They're two of my favorite tropes. I'm still working on my coffee shop AUs, but... yeah.

K:  Do you have a guilty pleasures in fic (reading or writing)?

I'm not really guilty in reading or writing; I'm wholly straightforward about most things. That said, there are a few things that I read in incognito in the middle of the night, and no one's ever gonna get them out of me.
