Faces of Terrorism.
Ever wonder how that rule saying one can’t depict Muhammad came to be? Well, I imagine it went down something like this back when the prophet was around.
I drew this a long time ago, but I decided to post it now in response to today’s shooting attack on the Charlie Hebdo magazine office in Paris, France that killed ten magazine employees, including four cartoonists, and two police officers, all because of cartoons mocking the prophet that were printed in the magazine a couple times over the last decade. This is my own exercise of freedom of expression in their memory.
No one in this world, dead or alive, is immune from criticism, and that will always be true, no matter how many threats of violence there are.
We do not draw him or make any art that shows his face because we don’t want people who pray to those statues/pictures etc. we believe in only one God and to only pray to him.
Right, but Muslims don't pray to Muhammad, they pray to God and God only. Muhammad is just a mortal according to Islam, so really there should be no problem. When someone draws Muhammad, really all they're doing is attempting to depict a body that existed on this Earth at one point. Is there a fear that if someone draws a silly cartoon, there will be people who pray to the cartoon?

My Jerkcity Conspiracy Theory
Jerkcity is an ongoing, web-based comic series about “Spigot”, a mentally-disturbed man dressed as a beatnik who yells sexual obscenities at his imaginary friends out in public on a regular basis. For some reason, he is never apprehended by authorities.
The name “Jerkcity” is a term that describes the real-life environment Spigot views himself in, wherein he is frequently accosted and verbally abused by the people around him: his dementia-suffering father, “Ozone”, his drug-abusing best friend, “Net”, his manipulative, estranged wife/girlfriend, Harriet, and Hanford, a TV producer who wears a paper bag over his head to hide his face on camera.
Ozone and Net buy into and participate in Spigot’s wild fantasies, while Harriet exploits Spigot’s mental unstableness to make money from a reality show directed by Hanford. Harriet and Hanford pretend to acknowledge Spigot’s imaginary friends to keep the reality show running, and as these two are also the only sane characters in the comic, they are aware of and addressed by their real first names.
Much of Jerkcity is presented through Spigot’s overactive, mentally abused, and drug-fueled imagination. Most of the backdrops the characters appear in are imaginary.
Ultimately, the plot revolves around Spigot’s struggle against his insanity and suicidal tendencies in trying to escape the real-world “Jerkcity”, which consists of both Harriet and Hanford’s exploitation of him and Net and Ozone’s dangerous instability that threatens to drag him down with them.
Is there an escape for Spigot, or will he find solace in the comfort of his imaginary friends, allowing him to peacefully depart from reality? The story goes on.
