Nene's clear sense of commitment to Akane makes my heart ache, she literally saying "you gave me the way to save us and I still failed." That sense of guilt with all her friends when she is only a adolescent? Gut-wrenching.
And Akane… He feels it too. He feels bad for putting Yashiro in a situation that was beyond difficult, bordering on traumatic.
I just hear the phrase "I would sacrifice myself for you" or "You saved me and then I saved you" reading this chapter. Tell me that doesn't sound like a sad Aoi x Akane edit waiting to happen. AidaIro are FEEDING us emotional content, and I’m eating it up with a spoon. Aoiaoi angst? Delicious.

Our Nene (the one who made the deal with the hourglass) didn't make this choice. So what triggered this alternate version of Yashiro to succeed in changing the future — in this way?...
Yashiro in this timeline looks… drained. Tired? Empty? There's something deeply unsettling about her demeanor — it’s like she’s already accepted her fate. And that big eye and tentacles behind her and Aoi? Gross. Terrifying. The entity literally looks like someone put human souls in a grinder and placed the people's eyes as decoration, Which... might not be far from the truth.

Yashiro has always been the type of person who will try to get out of a bad situation in the best way possible. Our Yashiro-chan who was with the hourglass even asked "what about Aoi" and she was clearly not satisfied with the answer "she didn't make it out of the house." So for this other version of her to go through with that sacrifice? Yeah, she’s definitely different. Maybe she knew this was the only path that might fix things, maybe she knew too much... — but something about it still feels… off, at least to me.

That statement feels like a half-truth — maybe intentionally misleading. I’m still leaning more towards the theory of 1968 being the real divergence point.

And this panel is one of those that make me think that the idea that the change the clockkeepers made was in Amane's fourth birthday is a half-truth, i still believes that the big change has been made at 1968, somehow they made Amane able to fix the big clock and uhm...be back at the time where Tsukasa disappeared, we don't know why Amane first wanted to fix that clock, not even if it was really a spontaneous choice from him, maybe Tsukasa had told him something, just to know what his own brother would do! Furthermore, it was Kou himself who said that Amane probably didn't hated baby Tsu (That time at the Red House arc). Maybe Tsukasa wanted a proof of that love, and we can see how it ended in Hanako's timeline, It is more than clear why Tsukasa now definitely believes that Amane hates him, and it would be very difficult to get that idea out of his head...
