Something about my interactions with tumblr feels like that one quiet friend in a group. She barely talks, but loves the energy of her friend group. She doesn't feel included, but can't help feeling entertained. Her friends are part of fandoms she hasn't even heard of. She tries to know a little more about those fandoms so that she gets in on the jokes. Her energy would surely match theirs, but her friends don't know it yet. So she just sits there, watching, waiting, until the right time to speak comes.
