Whenever people ask me "why don't you know xyz, it's so popular" well see it's because

Most countries cut the map like that because it's the easiest and most logical place to have a big vertical split! Everyone else agrees that the awkward and self centred way that Americans cut the map so that they sit in the middle is obnoxious as hell.

ive always seen the Europe central map, and ive seen the one where Europe and Asia are on the left but only online, but i have *never* seen this one

Speaking as somebody who has grown up entirely in various places in the US, gone to several different schools in several different states, and has never been outside the US:
What the FUCK are you talking about grandprev and great-grandprev????? We use the Europe-centered map. Literally EVERY SINGLE CLASSROOM I've been in.
