It’s the time of year again for me to question whether or not I have proper seasonal allergies. It’s truly a puzzle; I go outside during the day and take a nice walk, absolutely nothing. Then I take the same walk later in the evening and suddenly my eyes are red and itchy and my nose tortures me until I induce out six or seven sneezes back to back. So clearly something is going on but nooo idea what I am reacting to! This clearly needs more thorough scientific research

Allergic!A extending a quick sneezing fit to hours of iritation because they refuse to stop stifling and B having to physically holding their hands away to stop them because B knows it wont end until they finally get the iritation out.

This of course ends up with nothing to stop both of them getting covered.

my mind is in the gutter lately thinking about that cute little eye-roll that sometimes happens right before a sneeze. that moment when it becomes all-encompassing, all-consuming, entirely taking over and impossible to fight or resist. when the eyes just roll back against the sneezer's will when the tickle just simply becomes too much.

and also the same little eye-roll when they've been sneezing a ton, over and over and over, yet they're still not done and when they feel yet another one it's kind of a 'ffs not again' type of action.

The one talkie I did before got much better response than I had imagined so I took the chance to record another one. This time it’s probably a lot more of me just rambling about how my nose has been acting up a little recently but I hope there’s still enough actual sneezing in here to be enjoyable (I honestly don’t know, I refuse to listen back to my own voice on principle 😅)

Thinking about someone who has allergies, and whenever their allergies are acting up just talking about the allergen is enough to make them sneeze.

"Wow, your nose is so red. Is it the pollen making your nose tickle?"

"Hihh..."

"There are just so many flowers in this area, the pollen count must be so high..."

"And I know you're so allergic to pollen, you must be miserable,"

"Hih! Ih!"

I love a good "ah ahh ahhh" buildup, but honestly I also love it when someone's buildup is just a single huge gasp. Especially if it gets all strong and shrill sounding.

Not all sneezes are created equal.

Sometimes what triggers your nose is the cold that’s been making you sniffly for a day already. Sometimes it’s the pollen, dust, cat hair or any of the other things you might happen to be allergic to. Classic, cute, sexy.

Other times you just managed to choke on the water you were drinking and proceeded to cough your lungs out that then triggered a harsh sneezing fit and it takes you around half a minute to catch your breath. And for the next hour your voice sounds terrible.

so obviously im a total whore for cartoony sneeze stuff and i think smthing really underappreciated in that zone is the ultra-exaggerated, point-of-no-return pre-sneeze face.

like im talkin eyes slightly crossed towards the nose, brows raised, nose twitched, one nostril flared more than the other—the kind of face someone makes when the thing they're really allergic to floats gently down onto (or under) their nose. just totally absurd, obvious cause-and-effect signaling, an unspoken "now i'm going to start sneezing"? soooo hot

whether that's someone multilingual switching between languages, someone trying (and failing) to find the words "I have to sneeze", or someone just fully reduced to random noises as all hope of human speech fails them <3
