I'm just so genuinely, incredibly happy that like... Valentino and Velvette stopping Vox and ultimately being the ones to defeat him was something that was done lovingly.
Yes, it was a big fucking "you will NOT kill us for that stupid deer" moment, but they also did it for him! When Velvette said "it's over!" there was a moment I was scared for them all, because I was still expecting that stereotypical breakup, of "it's over between us." But even in the end, at that moment, she wasn't talking about them as a team, she was talking about Vox's plan and telling him that it's over, it didn't work, and it's time for him to fucking pack it up and go home with them. There was NO POINT when they were considering abandoning him. NOT ONE.
EVEN THOUGH HE TRIED TO ABANDON THEM. And in particular this gives me a lot of warm joy and comfort, because his abandonment of them wasn't him being a cold, calculating, uncaring person that just used them to leave them. It was him having a catastrophic fucking suicidal mental and emotional breakdown that had been a long time coming. And they weren't going to let him destroy them with it, but they also didn't let him self-destruct, either. Not to that extent! Better to rip his head off and take him home. I feel like it echoes Cherri just hitting Angel in the back of the head or shoving Angel Dust in the sack because it it really isn't the fucking time for "I know you're still in there!" bullshit, shit is hitting the fan - and that doesn't mean you don't care about that person.
Their goal throughout the entire crash out has been for Vox to calm down. Even after everything fucking explodes, all Velvette has to give him is an eyeroll and an, "Ohhh, my god." Because Vox is right: they DO know him.

You could argue that she values the Light of Passion more than the Soul Jam because it finally motivated her in her World Exploration story to finally return to her kingdom, but weāve seen that the āLightsā of Soul Jam come with ownership of the Soul Jam itselfālosing the Soul Jam is just two birds with one stone. So this just completely discards the character development in what I argue to be one of the best stories in the game just for Holly to keep doubting herself and build up to her awakening.
I donāt mean to sound like THAT type of fan, but Holly is one of the most overlooked of the Ancients regardless of how much she suffered or matured, and it felt like her Beast-Yeast story paled in comparison to the characterization the Legend of the Red Dragon gave herāand that story was referenced TWICE so they werenāt ignoring the entire thing outright (and them showing up in the illusion just shows how much she cares about them I frothed at the mouth seeing that part of the cutscene the first time)
The story was still good, but it still showcased more potent problems in Hollyās life that I feel would have been much better suited for being the reason Eternal Sugar gets the upper hand

And Why The Rescue Bots Shouldnāt Have Put So Much Pressure On Him (Looking At U Heatwave..) And Why Blurr Would Be Happier Not Being On a Rescue Team.
So When The Bots And Some of The Humans Find Blurr And Salvage In Stasis Pods On Their Ship, Blurr Is The First One Awake, The First Thing He Does Is Hug The Bots Because He Believes Heās Back On Cybertron, But The Second Thing He Does Is Ask āWhereās Salvage? Is He Okay?ā. Salvage Was The Loader of Their Ship While Blurr Was The Pilot, When Earth Had Meteors Raining Down On It, Salvage Saved The Cave People While Blurr Panicked And Ran Back To The Ship, Like Most TEENAGERS Would In a Type of Situation Like That(I Sure Asf Would Tbh). Sure, Blurr Was Selfish And Stupid To Run off Without Telling Salvage, But Salvage Also Had No Reason To Physically FIGHT Blurr Over It (Which He Canonically Did, Source; SALVAGE SAYING āWe Foughtā, And Salvage Marching Over To Blurr With Clenched Fists, Plus Ira[Cave Man] Running Out of The Ship In Fear). People May Claim Blurr Never Cared For Salvage, But He Very Obviously Did, When Salvage Was Taken Out of His Stasis Pod, Blurr Immediately Ran Up To Hug Him, Visibly Happy That He Was Alright. Blurr Wanted To Leave Earth In The Spur of The Moment Out of FEAR, If Blurr Truly Didnāt Care For Salvage, Then He Wouldnāt Be So Happy To See Him.
Now With Blurr Taking Credit For The Things He Didnāt Do (Saving The Cave People, Saving Salvage, Etc), Thatās a Sign of Blurr Having Low Self Confidence And Even An Inferiority Complex, And Maybe Being Desperate For Attention, As a Lot of Young Teenagers Are Like, He Craves Attention Because of His Life of Being a Racer, Blurr Isnāt Used To Being Treated Like a Regular Bot. The Point That Iām Making Is That Blurr Was Not All That Happy On Heatwaveās Team. When Blurr Showed Up On RiD2015, He Took The Blame For Sideswipeās Poor Performance, Thinking That He Himself Was For The Blame of Sideswipe Knocking The Decepticon Into The Water And Letting Them Escape. Blurr Told Bumblebee On Screen āThe Accident Was Totally My Fault, Bee, I Broke Formation To Drive Next To Youā, Blurr Was Conditioned By Heatwave And The Rescue Team Into Believing Everything That Goes Wrong Is His Fault, Whether It Be Just a Malfunction of Technology or a Crash, Blurr Believes That Heās To Blame Because of How The Rescue Team Treated Him. Blurr Also Almost Dies In That Episode As Well, While Blurr Was Driving a Bomb Away From Beeās Team, The Bomb Easily Couldāve Detonated And Killed Blurr On The Spot, But It Didnāt. Blurr Almost Dies Constantly But Itās Almost Never Taken Seriously, Always Used As a Joke Afterwards With The Rescue Bots And Brushed off With Beeās Team.
Why Do I Believe Blurr Is a Teenager? Simple, He Behaves Very Similarly To Sideswipe, Whoās Described As a Teenager/Young Bot In Many Episodes of RiD2015 And Was Described In Season 4 As āBeing Moved Around From Home To Homeā, Like a Foster Child. Both Blurr And Sideswipe Are Careless At Times, Immature, Dislike Authority, Like Going Fast, And Are Implied To Be Teenagers Who Never Asked To Be On Earth In The First Place.
It Isnāt Blurrās Fault That He Doesnāt Know How To Rescue, Itās Heatwaveās Fault For Not Teaching Him Properly or Trying To Understand Blurrās Situation, Itās Optimusā Fault For Not Listening To Blurrās Complaints, Itās The Rescue Teams Fault For Treating Blurr Like Heās a Bad Person For Not Knowing How To Rescue. The Only Living Beings To Treat Blurr With Respect And Listen To Him Is Cody, Sideswipe And Bumblebeeās Team.
In Conclusion, Blurr Never Wanted To Be a Rescue Bot, It Was Just The Circumstance He Was In, And The Conditioning He Was Put Through To Make Him Think He Always Wanted To Be a Rescuer, When All Blurr Really Wanted To Do Was Race And Have Fun.
