I was able to go on a several hour long date yesterday because I was in a wheelchair. I got to enjoy a day with someone I love because I had access to a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are freedom. Mobility aids are freedom.

Wheelchairs help me enjoy museums and art galleries and big events!! My rollator allows me to run errands and carry the things i need without hurting myself as much! My cane makes it so that I can still explore the forest with my lover and walk up unavoidable stairs !! Mobility aids drastically improved my quality of life :)))

Honestly I'm starting to realize that my issue with TADC is less of the show itself but rather the fandom acting like it's some modern masterpiece by the ranks of Shakespeare and Homer and you need an IQ of over 300 to understand it when in my humble opinion it's a very OK 6/10 show.Not all fans are like this but there are enough fans that will tell you to kill yourself for having the slightest issues with show for me to start having a problem with it.

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

scrolling through disability stickers on Etsy and a LOT of them are themed around invisible disabilities which is gr8 but im specifically looking for stickers to put on my wheelchair on a spoke guard and like... the idea of having stickers that are like "not all disabilities are visible" on a literal wheelchair is very funny to me
