I just finished Sky and Breath and I'm sorry, but,

Did anyone else find it painfully obvious who "Day" was?

I enjoyed the book definitely, straight on to the next one, but like...that actually annoyed me tbh haha was it meant to be a surprise? I'm pretty good at guessing things so i dont want to be too harsh but I just feel like it was sooo obvious

Would love to know when other people figured it out?

The arch (heralds/oathpact if you will) breaking down throughout the book, I really enjoyed.

Kaladin (although storyline kinda predictable) in the "arch" at the end, killed me.

I think maybe the "twilight" phase, books and movies, had such an impact on me because, honestly, both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson both had such an impact on my sexuality.

(Also read Midnight Sun about 15 years after the original and the biggest take away was that Edward is a walking red flag (and a whiney little bitch tbh) but I still quite enjoyed it lol)

Wtf is going on with Adolin? Every pov is just reinforcing what an amazing person he is, in anyones opinion, and I can't help but remember how tlm was basically a love letter to Wayne. Also he can feel his plate now? And the whole Mya thing obviously. I just don't know. I love him

And then Kaladin and Szeth, the wind and the stone. Always thought K was a bit too obvious for Honour, maybe the wind?

Also Honour? Are we sure he's a good guy still?

Renarin mentioning his spren looking for a gemheart but being content anyway. Humans brought their own Surges, but did something like the Radient bond exist already with the original spren and people of the plant? Is Mishram maybe a misunderstood good guy?

It wasn't a full Ascension, but a mortal did give up the power once. It proved to be the wrong choice, but it was the most selfless thing I believe I've ever witnessed. So yes Dalinar, it's possible. But not easy.
