Everyday it seems like nothing much changes, but when you look back, nothing is the same . I know it's not #transformationtuesday but I've been feeling a little demotivated over the very slow progression of my backbends. So I took a sneak peak at my old pics (swipe right) to see where I've come so far. The pictures are about 7 months apart. Putting aside the obvious differences, there are also some subtle conscious differences. If you look at the picture from 7 months ago, there is a bend in my waist, which means I was compressing my lower back to get the scorpion backbend. I've consciously tried to stop that now, which means the backbend may not be deep, but it also means I've taken a more conscious approach with my backbends. It's nice to see that, since I've been putting a lot of work into creating space in my backbends over the past few months. Another thing that I love about this comparison, my middle back was a rod 7 months ago! And I can now slowly start to see the opening 😍 #practiceandalliscoming .
