Really late to the party, but I finally got caught up on Red Hood canon with The Gotham War and Dark Prisons arc. Bruce is so Fucked for all that. What he dosed Jason with is still in his system btw, he just has to learn to adapt to it by pure force of will and a little non consensual dose of joker gas.

I still feel Jason’s trauma exposes itself in how he forgives his abusers way too easily. Also, I truly believe Bruce was being deeply manipulative in the Dark Prisons arc, which caused Jason to do what he did, to gain advantage on Zur Batman.

This shot really reminds me of when Tim had to sneak into the Batcave under JPV. Feels nostalgic. Once again Batman is evil, and Tim's repelling through the dark.

None of it, Tim? It's a good thing Bruce corrected you and apologized, saying it's not his fault at all is just going to piss them off.

(Side note: I wish they would stop making Jason's white streak so small. It's already too hard to tell these black-haired, blue-eyed boys apart.)

One of the things that’s bugged people about Jason’s willingness to die again during the Dark Prisons arc (aka Zur got uploaded to the Failsafe robot and BS happened) and get resurrected again via Lazarus water is that Jason canonically has a severe dislike and possible fear or hatred of it.

But it’s possible he decided one of 2 things:

no one else in his family should have to be exposed to it and suffer

Or it would get rid of the lingering effects of what Bruce did to him that affects his adrenaline and fear response in Gotham War (plus the small dose of Joker venom that was counter acting it which happened in The Man Who Stopped Laughing)

And you know what, that 2nd option was probably super appealing
