Hello! My name is Calico! I'm an adult and I use she/they/it/any pronouns except for he/him along with you/your and thou/thee second person pronouns. And this blog is for anything anti religion or anything that is bigoted or against religions, spiritual practices, and magical beliefs of any kind!

I don't have a dni and anybody can send an ask. I'm also friendly towards conpantheonism/neoreligions, pop culture paganism/fictoreligions, multifaith folk, people with contradictory belief systems, abrahamic witches/pagans, egotheism, and godspouses. This is also a delusion safe space!

Disclaimer: This is NOT a safe space for culture appropriation, culture misappropriation, antisemitism, Islamophobia, Christian shaming, kinmisia/alterhumisia, people who slap "delusional" and "spiritual psychosis" onto everything (ableism/saneism isn't cool), people with a "the gods would NEVER be your parent/sibling/spouse/friend!" type attitude, those who shame queer folk (religion is for everyone and the divine is super queer), or racist based spiritual beliefs (such as the Völkisch movement or Black Israelites).

Alternative ( simpler ) omnitheism symbol that I made for myself. In making this symbol, I wanted to include elements that I feel spiritually describe my experience as an omnitheist.

I used the infinity symbol to represent continuity and vastness, the "equal by definition" sign (used primarily in mathematics, not spirituality, but I thought it worked here) to represent acceptance of and equality among other religions, tree branches to represent the tree of life (which symbolises enlightenment, wisdom, resilience, longevity, spiritual growth, and connectivity), and finally— the ring around it all to represent wholeness and unity.

I also remade my omnitheism flag using the symbol:

i have a question for anyone that believes in/worships any gods, higher powers, or external beings. as an atheist with little to no firsthand experience in religion

how do you conceptualize these beings? are they more literal or more symbolic to you? like what does that all look like for you

i want to look into doing deity work because it seems interesting and could possibly provide me with guidance/help when i need some, but i really find a hard time believing in any gods in what i assume is the traditional sense.

I hope i don't sound disrespectful these are jsut my genuine thoughts: i think that the existence of gods in the way i see them portrayed just doesn't make sense (entirely external beings with control over the world and are above us). If any belief, i think i find myself subscribing most to the idea of universal consciousness (we are all connected/ultimately one in the same, plus the whole comparison to being different waves in the ocean you know the one). Therefore i feel like if there are gods/deities out there, they are only extensions of us and we are extensions of them, and they only exist and have influence over the world because we created them through shared belief/worship and we give them their power. I think it makes more sense for them to simply be humanity's way of categorizing different parts of life as well as being tools of self reflection or something IDK. Like i think they probably do have some level of cognitive autonomy and we can still communicate with them but ultimately they are just extensions of us, and they would cease to exist if we stopped believing in them.

Does there exist a belief system/religion like this? like i don't see it being exactly theistic, so maybe it's just some sort of atheistic belief system but with more to it than what's normally seen as atheistic? i don't knowwwww

I made this blog not only as way to connect with my fellow pagan/spiritualists but also as a way to honor Pallas Athena by sharing the knowledge I have and helping to inspire and help those who need guidance as well as to stop misinformation about practices being spread. My mission is only to point in the right direction in hope that others follow and will stop the toxicity I currently see in the witch/pagan/spiritualist communities. Now to the info dump about me:

How long have I been practicing?

I started in late 2018 to early 2019, I was still in Highschool and had grown up Catholic. Up till now I have learned and read so much but still consider myself a learning practitioner. I learn something new everyday and hope this blog can act as a guide for not only others but for myself in my never ending journey.

Why am I an omnist and what does that mean for my practice/beliefs?

Now before I say anything, no I am not just trying to cover all bases and being noncommittal to my deities and spirits that I work with. As I’ve grown I have experienced many different things and occurrences that have all but confirmed my belief that the universe itself is loving and caring and sends facets of itself to those who require guidance. Those facets can take on many different faces from many different pantheons and groups depending on what that person needs and what their comfort level and beliefs are (culture and ancestry also play a huge role since ancestors have an influence on who gets sent), which is why Spiritual teams may hold a multitude of different spirits and deities from different backgrounds. Hell there are just some spirits and entities that will push in the right direction and just stay anonymous which is completely normal and valid. That’s why the knowledge of domains are so important to know when starting deity work since some deities and spirits can show up to multiple people and have completely different goals and lessons to share (and vice versa). I still very much believe and trust science and psychology and it will be a topic I will discuss especially since I want to spread awareness of religious psychosis. These are just my beliefs and I am only saying it so you all know where I stand but know I am very open to discussions of different beliefs and religions. We are all meant to be different and diverse and all I want to do is celebrate that but also put the right step forward in destroying fear in those differences especially in these times of fear mongering.

I go by She/They and I am a bi woman in a loving committed relationship with my soulmate that I will be marrying hopefully soon (thank you Lady Aphrodite 💗) i dont know anything else about my identity tbh but for now know I am still a uni student and I will update this section if there are any changes :) 👍

What Deities do I work with?

Currently I am mainly a follower of Lady Athena but am also worshipping other gods of the Hellenic Pantheon, Kemetic Pantheon and working with some Infernals. Oh and I mainly just pray to La Virgen de Guadalupe mostly cause she is my families patroness. Other than that I just try to be as respectful as I can to any deities, entities or spirits that cross my path, some stick around for a while and others just come in when needed. Maybe one day I can share some personal experiences but will first do a discussion on UPG (unverified person diagnosis) to reference beforehand.

Dreaded but Important Question, Politics?

Since I am Mexican American and not a B1got, I believe in equal rights and opportunity to all as well as a big believer in Women’s Rights, black lives matter, LGBTQ rights, and ofc overall just not being a shitty person my gods. So if you happen to be of the opinion of being against human rights and do not want to listen to reason or of another opinion-,, First off why are you here- you do know you’re on TUMBLR and PAGAN TUMBLR right-? Go be a white supremacist on X or something lol (as yall can tell I dont like people like that and hope they get enlightened about their shitty behavior and change cause we are not meant to be here to make everyone else’s life miserable)
