[ Rome the octoling is typing ] Shiver (the blue one you mentioned earlier) is actually wearing a sarashi, which is much safer than bandage binding! I think the concept has been around even back in the mammalian era, squids and octos learning how to make sarashi from remnants of human culture from my studies, sarashi were originally worn by male warriors called 'samurai' and was typically wrapped around the stomach instead of the chest in order to protect organs. The practice extended to woman as well, them covering their chest instead of their stomach.

and now, some cultures of inklings and octolings use sarashi to flatten or give support to their chest the same way humans did!! i find it interesting that we repeated this pattern in our own history.
