i hope every genderfuck, trendercore, xenogender person knows that i appreciate you very much for existing. without you wonderful weirdos expressing gender the way you do i would not have the confidence to be me. you guys make me feel comfortable and i want to befriend all of you !!

no rizz but i'll tell you something unnecessarily personal about myself when you're in the middle of venting as a poor attempt to comfort and relate to you because nobody taught me how to do that

my occupational therapist said what i am experiencing does seem to be autistic catatonia. my autism therapist looked for someone in my area who specializes in it, and couldn’t find anyone. it is not well-known in my area. we are trying to treat it in the therapies i already have. not going well so far.

scary losing so many abilities quicker and quicker. with every stressor, even as small as leaving the house for appointment, it gets worse and not get better. speech has been incredibly difficult since my last appointment. speech loss episodes are getting longer and more frequent. only able to say short phrases out loud. spoke two full sentences since yesterday morning. had to lay down after. every word feels like getting hit by a truck. lost speech in the start of appointment and had to use my phone aac. doctor seemed skeptical that i could make my own decisions about HRT. the state is taking so long to cover a real device.

scary and frustrating. our mom is blind. she can’t see my facial expressions, or hear my voice if using aac. she got impatient yesterday i started crying because felt so pressured. i know she’s not trying to be mean. i can’t type fast enough for anyone.

anyways, I am not letting discourse get in the way of enjoying queerness and being a part of the community. I love being transmasc, I love being genderqueer, I love being a stud, I love being a bear, I love being a gaybian and aroacespec and m-spec. I love being vaguely transfem and having my intersexuality, autism, and blackness shape my identity as a whole. I love having xenogenders and using it/its pronouns and neos as an adult. I love existing despite the pushback from others, I love being a source of education and inspiration.

QUESTION for autistic transmascs

Did you also have “boy autism” growing up? Like I was rowdy in class, always trying to distract other kids, bad at everything academic and would only ever want to talk about my special interest which was dinosaurs (I still love dinosaurs) which led to me being diagnosed relatively early at 7-9 I dont exactly remember.

But yeah just like other autistic “girls” I tried to mask and be feminine and social cuz I was told that was good and the way I acted before was bad. That didn’t really work out, Im still not good at masking.

And the way this all presented when I got to middle school was I was this quirky obnoxious “not like other girls” girl who would always try to impess the boys but was also a bisexual furry? I was a pretty odd kid ngl

Sometimes I beat myself up for not showing “enough” signs or not having this intrinsic “im a boy” feeling from a young age but really the writing was on the wall when you look at the big picture. But yeah thats my tism tranny experience
