By now I should know: if I think a workout will be easy, it probably isn’t. Alas I forgot this principle and found myself chugging along through the workout. But good news is I did manage to do it all.
4 rounds for time with 2 min rest in between:
See? Doesn’t that look easy? I think I underestimate how much bbjo take out of me. I’m already bad at Burpees and when you add the step over a 20” box, it just doubles my burpee time. Also, those wall balls felt brutal. Maybe it’s because I’m finally getting into the right form, or maybe its just because of yesterday’s sit ups, but they were killing my abs.
At least it was a good cardio workout and I could do all the movements. Also, I thought I was for sure finishing last as most people finished the workout while I was still on my third round. But I noticed a guy started his fourth round about the same time as me and I pushed myself the hardest I could just to not be last for once. So funny how I can muster a little bit more energy when competition’s involved.
