Dear Ironwood,
You a hoe.
Dishonor on you, dishonor on your cow, dishonor on your whole family.
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries.
I'm not angry, I'm disappointed.....but really I'm angry.
Sincerely,
Someone who wanted to bitch slap you through her laptop
This MOTHER F*CKING HOE! OG post from so long ago that we've gone full rage. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 What a BITCH HOE!!!!!!!!
Said out loud in response to a channel playing a Christmas movie "If they are going to do a holiday movie, they should at least be something spooky" and somehow Lady-A herself (Alexa with the amazon echo) thought I wanted her to play Spooky Scary Skeletons, which I mean......like yeah. I was down.
What's the weirdest thing a voice activated device has done for you?
Her confidence is up to HERE.
Her face says it all.
This deserves all the notes 😆💕💕

I like that people included male rape victims as well! This is a good post

always always reblog
Even my ghost shall reblog this.
The power of reblog compels you, mortals!
Imagine: Its 2025. You're getting pulled over. A community representative approaches to let you know you have a taillight out. They don't need your license and registration, they don't write you a fix-it ticket. You're back on the road in less than five minutes. You swing by the store and grab a new light, not because you're afraid of what the city will do to you, but because you respect your community and know that having all your lights working is part of the driving privilege.
Your neighbors got into a loud spat a few weeks ago and without fear or hesitation, called a domestic assistance number. A counselor arrived and was able to talk the couple down and suggest solutions for their disagreement. No one was hurt, the kids participated in the discussion, and it's been quiet ever since.
Your friend has been struggling with addiction and you fear they might be a danger to themselves or others. You call a substance abuse specialist and they talk you through ways to help your friend get treatment. They offer to send an agent out to speak with your friend directly and provide information on harm reduction centers in your area.
Black and brown people are no longer being exploited through tickets and fines to pay for police. Trust is slowly being fostered in the community.
Teachers are being paid a living wage and students are being given more time, attention, and education. Books are up to date and classrooms are optimized to keep up with technology.
Trump is out of office.
It’s been a very long time since the name of a murdered black person was used as a hashtag.
Casual racism is no longer tolerated. The KKK has been classified as a terrorist organization. The Confederate flag isnt flown and has been removed from any official state flags or insignias. Most Confederate monuments have been taken down and placed in storage or museums.
You trust the investigation force to deal with crime the same way you trust firefighters to put out fires.
That's what 'defund the police' looks like. What we've seen in the last few weeks shows how overreaching and power-drunk many officers are. We asked too much of them and then called them heroes despite evidence to the contrary. We let them think that they could get away with anything, including murder. Its time for change.
Copied and pasted.
Read this post, then reread it again.
Signal boost
It’s not about the end of “to protect and serve.” It’s about bringing it BACK to “to protect and serve” as opposed to “act as judge, jury, and executioner and violate peoples’ rights because cops are scared people with power who are dealing with things they were never trained to deal with, or who were trained WAY wrong on how to deal with it, or who are just assholes to begin with.
“Some people” are just mad that cops would no longer be randomly arresting/killing people who those “some people” see as lesser beings.
I heard there was a new meme format 👀
bonus:
Reblog if you're black tumblr.
You don’t have to be black, it just means you support us, you stand by us and you’re for us.
I know we all know that toph loves to cuss, but I just realized
She had an extremely sheltered upbringing, then when she snuck out to fight, she went to the Earth Kingdom version of WWE, which, if it’s like real world WWE, is family entertainment, and she never spent time backstage, she came she fought she left
I don’t think Toph knows any swear words
She learns to swear from team avatar and becomes all powerful.
I don’t think Sokka or Katara would know swears either; they grew up in a village consisting of them, Gram Gram, and a bunch of little kids and their moms
I don’t know if the airbenders taught aang swears or not but I know he’s not really the type to swear anyway
Zuko, on the other hand, spent about 3 years of his life as a young angry teenager surrounded by sailors
So, they all learn some fun curse words from their new friend Zuko who promptly becomes the Fire Nation Emperor.
He of course censors himself but all these other sweet beans don't even know that they are cussing and Zuko becomes v embarrassed with them as they are engaging in internation relations until someone sets them straight.
Why the cliché “you’re anti-cop now, but what about when something bad happens and you really need a cop’s help?” doesn’t mean shit to anyone paying attention
TW:// sexual assault, violence
So I’ve been seeing quite a bit of anti-BLM people present a very flawed argument that I’d like to take a second to address. Since I’m a storyteller at heart, I figured maybe I should tell you guys a story for anyone who thinks these protests are an overreaction to police negligence, brutality, and a complete lack of accountability on behalf of the justice system. Again, this story contains elements of sexual assault and violence, so please continue with caution.
Three women lived in a multistory house on Lamont Street Northwest in the District of Colombia. Two of the women—Carolyn Warren and Joan Taliaferro—lived on the third story, while another woman, Miriam Douglas, lived on the second story.
On Sunday March 16, 1975, two men broke into their home. The men (later identified as Marvin Kent and James Morse) entered the second story, where they proceeded to sexually assault Miriam Douglas. Carolyn Warren and Joan Taliaferro heard the screams and struggle downstairs, and called the police to report a burglary in progress. Dispatch assured them that officers would arrive promptly.
Although a crime in progress should’ve been designated a code 1 assignment, a call was dispatched to the officers as a code 2 assignment.
Carolyn and Joan climbed out of the window and onto an adjoining rooftop to wait for police to arrive. They observed one policeman drive by the front of the property without stopping or even leaning out of the window. Another officer knocked on the front door of the house, but left after receiving no answer. Three officers total showed up, and left five minutes after they arrived.
Carolyn and Joan climbed back into their room where they dialed the police again, reiterating that there was a burglary in progress and they desperately need help. Again, dispatch assured them officers were on their way, except the call was recorded as “investigate the trouble” and no officers were ever sent to the house after that.
Thinking that police might already be inside, Joan and Carolyn called out to Miriam, thereby alerting the home invaders to their presence. At knife point, the three women proceeded to be beaten, robbed, and sexually assaulted for fourteen hours straight.
This is a tragic story. However, during the next few months, while the police department could not change the mistakes they made that night, the court system could potentially provide some form of justice for the horrors those women suffered through.
A court case was filed against the police department for negligence. In a 4-3 decision, the District of Colombia held that police do NOT owe a specific duty to provide police services to citizens based on the Public Duty Doctrine. This ruling has never been overturned.
So, to any American followers I have who believe this doesn’t affect them, that the police are there to HELP and PROTECT, the United States justice system blatantly disagrees with you. If the courts refuse to hold their policemen to the lowest standard you can possibly hold a policeman to (providing police services to citizens) we’ve essentially armed a group of people and given them free reign to enforce laws and issue orders without any legal obligation whatsoever to actually protect the citizens of this country. This is not just at the local or state level, this is a complete and total systematic failure and an overwhelming detriment to our safety as Americans.
This lack of accountability on behalf of the executive branch of government (rubber stamped as completely legal by the judicial branch) coupled with the institutional racism running rampant has resulted in some of the most heinous, disgusting miscarriages of justice this country has ever seen. This is especially clear when seeing the police response to the BLM protestors. Segregation ended 56 years ago. Which means about 20% of Americans alive today have used segregated water fountains. This is not ancient history, this is not something we can shrug off and excuse by saying things are different now.
If the law refuses to look out for the safety and well-being of Americans, then we as Americans must do that for each other. Please take a moment to donate to these bail funds.
End police brutality.
Implement real consequences for police actions or inactions.
End systematic racism.
Black Lives Matter.
Would also be really annoying if they wore heat resistant gloves to throw back the hot tear gas canisters and if this got shared to all those protesting…
Would be a further shame if people started covering cameras (as seen in Hong Kong, with protestors using poles and rakes to lift cardboard boxes over security cameras), blinding drone optics with laser pointers, and flooding police-run reporting apps with junk data.
It would be a shame if the protesters noted that plainclothes cops can be identified a number of ways, such as wearing steel-toed boots; an armband or wristband of a particular color; driving white, black, or dark blue cars with concealed lights; or having the outline of cuffs visible in the back pocket or the bumps of an armor vest’s shoulder straps under their shirt.
It would be a shame if the protesters began making their signs out of inch-thick plywood to stop rubber bullets, forming a tight shield wall to prevent police from singling out and mobbing individual protesters. It would be a shame if the people behind the shield wall held up umbrellas so that tear gas canisters fired over the heads of the front line will be bounced away. It would be a shame if protesters began constructing improvised armor vests out of duct tape, hardback books, and ceramic tiles.
It would be a shame if protesters started wearing safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, and gardening gloves, all of which can be found at the same hardware stores as the plywood. It would be a shame if they started using traffic cones (the kind without the hole in the top) upside-down buckets, or other improvised lids to contain tear gas by placing them over the canisters.
It would be a shame if protesters learned that police scanners are legal to own in the US, allowing them to learn where police are moving and what routes they intend to take. It would be a shame if they discovered that these scanners can be used to send as well as receive, allowing them to flood the scanner frequencies with noise.
All this would be a terrible, terrible shame.
tbh the worst thing about being a self aware mentally ill person is that people assume that because you understand your illness you’re automatically able to actually apply your knowledge to your life and cure yourself
Do I know my brain isn’t making the most sense right now? Yes. Can I stop it? No.
Me: I know what I should be doing but my brain has decided we’re not doing that
People: why are u so anxious
Me: I have anxiety
People: Now you know that you can get better
Me: knowing I have anxiety does not make me Less Anxious that is Not The Way Anxiety Works
People: Why are you doing that?
Me: I have OCD, so my brain spams me with terrifying thoughts until I do things to get rid of them. This is a compulsion.
People: So you know nothing bad will actually happen if you don’t do that! Why not just stop doing it?
Me: That is not how this works. That’s not how any mental illness works.
Me: *crying and hyperventilating over something objectively minor*
Someone: It’s not a big deal, why are you freaking out?
Me: *through sobs* I can’t… I can’t stop, I know it’s dumb… I know I shouldn’t be like this.
Them: Oh, well if you know that it’s dumb to freak out then why are you still freaking out?
Me: *sobbing harder because now I hate myself*
If you know your leg is broken you can’t magically walk on it like, knowing what’s wrong isn’t a cure ffs
*when we thought my spacing off moments were caused by insomnia and undiagnosed ADHD (though family and friends just put that label on me as the truth)*
Them:pay more attention! You know you have a problem.
*when I got diagnosed with a seizure disorder*
Them: omg, you cant control the chemicals and reactions of your brain
Me:........wtf!
When you're looking for some fics to read from the fandom you started, and you finally look at the page number and see your already 70 deep of 1168...you could just leave or......you know not.
This is my life now. I live on AO3 and AO3 only.
That point in a piece of fanfiction where you can tell something embarrassing is about to happen so you start fucking around on tumblr because you’re a huge baby with a crippling overabudance of empathy.
I do this with every media I consume. I pause movies and have to walk around and prepare myself for second-hand embarrassment sometimes.
This is mE
Secondhand embarrassment. I’ve got it.
I sometimes mute movies or tv shows to avoid it. Especially if I know it’s coming.
I TOTALLY DO THIS.
OH GOOD ITS NOT JUST ME.
I've tried to explain this to my brother before and just never had the words. He doesn't understand why I dont like the comedy he does for this specific reason. Other peoples pain and discomfort isn't funny to me.
Makes me feel better that other people know what's up.
Wait if PG doesn't get renewed then we'll never know JT's name
A true tragedy.
