Hi, you can call me El, this is my Tumblr blog for anything that has to do with my AO3 fics, my artwork and prompts/requests.

I am a 23yr old who is passionate about art and writing, I study full time and work part-time. I am based in the UK. I have ADHD, an autoimmune disease and I am partially blind in one eye. Because I’m not from the UK, I cannot access disability support here. I have a Ko-fi account where you can send donations my way to help me with bills and rent if you like my writing and my art. Hello lovely, I hope you’re doing okay! I’m so happy you like the story, it means the world!

I’m not sure when Bloodstained Rubies will be updated, not because I don’t have anything planned/written for how the story continues but because I have kind of had some delays in being able to finish the next chapter and be okay with how the story would continue. I’ve been very busy with university lately, and I have also taken a “break” from writing as often because I want to get better at it, so I’ve been reading up more creative writing books and delving deeper into storytelling. So yeah, Bloodstained Rubies will be updated, but first I want to give it the thought it deserves! You know, writing without constraints is fun but the longer I write the more I want to write something that is more meaningful, more “well-crafted”.

So yeah, that’s the explanation 😅 You could blame the inconsistency and delay on a mixture of my ADHD, life and academic pursuits getting in the way and the fact that I’ve been trying to get better at storytelling lately

Right, I’m really curious. Do any other neurodivergent people (esp ADHD/autism) have weird dreams? I’m talking mostly negative ones, where nightmare scenarios happen, but mainly long and bizarre, often with fully fleshed out storylines, characters, and plot. I have found some studies linking ADHD to more negative dreams, but it was in children only, and didn’t talk about how bizarre and vivid they are. I’ve always been told my dreams are wacky or that I should write books from the storylines in my dreams. I’m wondering if anyone else has a similar experience?

PTSD and insomnia - Madara 🌙

- Madara is no stranger to PTSD - he remembers some of the warriors in his clan when he was a child rocking with a thousand yard stare, how their eyes would sometimes glaze over and they would hyperventilate and clutch their racing hearts. He knows what it does to someone, how they can be haunted by the ghosts of the hell they endured.

- Because of this, he doesn’t see his SO as any weaker for it. To him, it is a sign one survived a great battle which left a scar of sorts. It is a sign of strength to him when he sees someone who has survived and endured and continues to fight day in and day out, be it on the battlefield or against their own mind.

- He would wake his SO up from any nightmares and soothe them by calmly speaking to them and reminding them of how they are stronger than whatever it is that haunts them because they already survived it.

- If they couldn’t sleep, he’d hold them and reassure them he wouldn’t let anything happen to them, and that they are also strong enough to survive and fight it.

- If their panic attack is severe, he would use a genjutsu to calm them down and take away their current flashback, but he is more prone to trying to help his SO overcome them by themselves because he wants them to know they are strong enough to do so by themselves.

I hope I'm not bothering you, but I just wanted to thank you for all the lovely, amazing fics you put out for us. I genuinely cannot express how beautiful they are and how grateful I am that you write them. You are an incredibly talented writer- the ideas for your fics are immaculate and the execution is *chef kiss*. You write beautifully and it captizes me. I physically cannot stop until I've at least finished the fic, and then I usually re read all the others for good measure kdjsnsk

I seriously love them AND I love your reader - I know it's always subjective but I can really relate to their actions and way of thinking, which is great because it makes the fic that much more immersive.

The way you write characters makes them feel three-dimensional and real, and it's amazing, like fr.

If it's okay, I'd like to request some things.

For example, what kind of life lessons would have Itachi teached Sasuke, what kind of friends/partners would he approve of, which of Sasuke's friends are his favorites and which ones does he dislike; stuff like that.

I apologize for this request spam, I hope this isn't too much, I'm just clinging onto the spark of happiness you give us that the canon verse deprived me of.

Itachi - Sasuke brotherhood HCs

- Itachi would have imparted many lessons to Sasuke, but the main ones in my opinion are that no matter what life threw at them, he would always have his back, that it is always better to be wisest rather than being the strongest, that strength sometimes can make people arrogant and lonely, that war is hell and brings no glory and only misery and that human bonds are necessary in life and should be cultivated

- Itachi would approve of anyone who supported and uplifted Sasuke whilst also not being afraid to challenge him and foster his growth. He would disapprove of those seeking to feed off his “popularity” or those that only want him around for his strength.

- His favourites are definitely Naruto, Lee and Shikamaru. His least favourite ones are probably Sakura because he might see her as overbearing and having a childish crush on his popularity and Neji because they might feed off each other’s pessimistic attitude.

Would I? I’m not sure, I think it would take time but maybe. Humans are wired for adaptation and survival, and I think if I found someone who could make me love again, perhaps in a different way, I would, which isn’t to say I would love them in the same way or forget the love i had for Shisui.

Heyyy so I actually just finished reading your Chrollo works and I would love to maybe brainstorm with you on having one where the reader actually is pursuing his affections, and maybe he doesn't know how to deal with it because its foreign. I would love to see him experience requited love, and the way you write is so beautiful!!

Chrollo would be so cute in love and in a “healthy” relationship.

My headcanons are around this:

- Chrollo would be so confused at first. He would wonder what they see in him, what version or “character” he thinks he’s playing they are infatuated with. Do they see something clear about his personality? Do they ignore his amoral tendencies, or do they embrace them? Do they know his darker sides, do they see them, do they accept them?

- I think he’d look for a way to exploit this at first. If he was infatuated too, he’d probably feel like he won the lottery and play into those character traits they like to ensure the best chances of keeping them around

- If they called him out on it and told him to just be himself, he’d be impressed but also confused. Would probably ask something along the lines of “and what do you believe is “being me”?”

- Upon receiving an answer, Chrollo would do a lot of thinking about who he is, how he appears to people, how the one they are infatuated with sees them. He would probably test their “loyalty” or their infatuation by leaning more into his less savoury traits to see if they would leave, get scared or stay, whilst trying to keep himself as detached as possible to account for possible rejection

- To him, they would become so fascinating, and possibly the key to understanding himself. And yes, he would get attached, whether he tries to or not

- If they stay no matter what, Chrollo would start to become so attached to them and so fearful of a hypothetical betrayal on their part

- He would also start worrying about something happening to them, and would in turn become almost overprotective, to the point he would stalk his partner without them knowing and do background research on everyone they meet

- I feel like he would be extra jealous because he would fear being left for someone more morally acceptable. Chrollo is a confident guy, but when it comes to relationships where the control is not all in his hands, he gets nervous that his partner might choose someone who aligns with society’s morals

- He would seek them out for comfort after he begins to trust them. It would take a long while, but if he was sure they were in love with him, and he was in love with them, he’d like unwinding with them, cuddling and reading books, having them brush his hair, watching a film together etc.

- He’d try to be romantic. The poor guy would pick up some romance novels and steal “tips” from there, which would feel so forced and stilted 💀 They’d see his true romantic side in things he’d do genuinely, like stealing first editions of their favourite books, showing interest in their hobbies and conversing about them, intimacy and being a good listener as they vent or rant about something (watch the mansplaining though)

- I do believe Chrollo would treat his SO like royalty. So many dates, stolen gifts and nice food. He likes the finer things in life, and he likes to appear as a sophisticated, well-mannered gentleman. His flaws lie mostly on his morals, his arrogant, self-serving, jealous nature which stems from Meteor City ways of having to fend off others trying to steal things he has claimed as soon as he lowers his guard, and the fact that once you’re with Chrollo there is no way out unless he too gets bored. If his partner tried to leave him, he would see it as a betrayal, and turn to more drastic measures to keep them— see Yandere Chrollo.

I think Itachi would probably be like “I think everyone should have a sibling, lest they feel lonely, and they should learn the importance of compromise and sharing…” and then be like after two children “well, you see, what if they do not get along? What if they needed a middle ground???” and after the third he’d be like “well… you see, one may feel left out, and we do not want that, no?”

Anything to stave off the breeding kink allegations 😔

Been thinking *a lot,* per usual. About all the Uchiha men in my life. You know me, biggest Shisui slut to have scorched this planet. Anyways, if you’re feeling it, it doesn’t necessarily have to be Shisui—can be Itachi. Or whatever.

Wildcard list of hc for these men. Things that they didn’t realize were arousing, but then when they see you do them—it just tightens the slacks a bit. Probably something they should feel ashamed about but don’t.

And in all honesty if your not feeling it, then I totally appreciate you reading my wild whims. Or if something else, because creative freedom is always appreciated from my favs here, do something else.

- red lipstick. I don’t know why, it just makes his knees jelly and something else quite… hard.

-sassiness. It makes him smile, especially if you’re quite a bit shorter than him, he thinks it’s cute.

Itachi

- I think Weasel Boy is into thigh high socks (me too tbh). I think he would stare like he’s trying to X-ray your legs if you wore thigh high socks

- Smiles. Your smiles to him are extremely sweet and also uplifting. And yes, they turn him on. One, because you’re smiling at him and his heart is going crazy knowing he made you happy, two because there’s so much cruelty in the world and you look so radiant and you’re his light. He’ll gift you a little smile of his own 🥹

Idk, I feel like Itachi would need to feel grounded in a reality because he spends too much time creating illusionary ones. What do you think? ☺️
