→ Charlotte Nicdao and David Hornsby on Mythic Quest Season 4 @ The Upcoming
“We try and have some fun with it, always.”
→ The Institute: On the red carpet with Ben Barnes at SXSW London 2025
“It was nice, for me, after playing psychopaths and villains and crazies for a few years to find someone who's clutching hard to their moral compass.”
→ Kaitlyn Santa Juana Is Fearless In Her Journey To Final Destination Bloodlines
“I feel like if I’ve put on too much of a caricature, it feels less truthful to me. That I have to go a little bit further than what’s comfortable for me. I like having little bits of actual Kaitlyn in the characters I play.”
→ The many faces of Skye Riley in Smile 2
“Naomi Scott is undeniably the star of this film.”
→ Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Introducing Shadow the Hedgehog and Amy Rose
“Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is the perfect culmination of this delightful surprise of a trilogy, presenting more familiar faces for long-time fans of the games to revel in.”
→ Peter And Wendy, An Unrequited Cycle
“And I knew you tried to change the ending; Peter losing Wendy.”
→ The Life of Chuck: On the red carpet with Tom Hiddleston at SXSW London 2025
“Chuck loves dancing, so it was my professional requirement, in fact, to dance.”
→ Say His Name: Asher Angel Is Here To Figure Himself Out
“I want to do some sort of autobiography, like a biopic of someone’s life. I would love to deep dive into something like that. Whether it’s about a musician’s life where I get to incorporate the two—some kind of biopic. I think would be really cool. That’d be a really good challenge for myself to do something like that; I’ve never done anything like it.”
→ The Women of Havoc
“You can have layers and still be badass.”
→ Peter Pan And Wendy Fell In Love IRL And We’re Only Just Finding Out
“Rachel and I fell in love on set. She was my first love; I was her first love. And it is great to know that we will always have that.”
→ Matthew Broome & Asha Banks interview on My Fault: London @ The Upcoming
Their love, their ruin. Yearning.
→ Queer: On the red carpet with Drew Starkey at London Film Festival 2024
“I love your t-shirt!”
→ Brandon Sklenar interview on 1923 Season 2 @ The Upcoming
“It's our history; it's also our mythology.”
→ Beabadoobee Uncovered: Bedroom Sessions and a Journey to Self-Acceptance
“I wish I was that type of person to be like—yep, I did both music and education amazing. I mean one of those things had to fuck up to make the other one soar. And I honestly did absolute shit in my exams, like I did not revise—all I did was actually just draw on the exam paper.”
→ “Spilled Truths and Alcohol with I’m Drunk, I Love You Director, JP Habac
“Rough sand, band music, the end of college tangled in your hair—that’s the kind of good time JP Habac’s 2017 film, I’m Drunk, I Love You, has to offer. It’s all about that salty beach air stinging your eyes, the five-minute intervals that could make or break everything, and the burning taste of alcohol washing away the ghost of desperate kisses on your lips. This film speaks to many of us who have been there; who went through the college experience, who got a little a too drunk, and a little too honest, who fell a little too in love, who got a little too lost in the moment of trying to figure who they are and what they want to be.”
→ The Films of Composer Craig Armstrong
“A good piece of music connects with a film and by doing that, you connect with people emotionally. There are fundamental things that don’t change. People’s human spirit and aspirations don’t change much, and I think film music is the same. All you’re trying to do is communicate with an audience.”
→ “It still doesn’t quite compute how many people have seen it and how many people love it”: Jenny Walser on Heartstopper Season 3
“Whilst it’s Charlie who’s really struggling with his mental health, Nick is also struggling with knowing how to care for and talk to this person that he absolutely adores and loves. He knows himself he doesn’t have that support from his brother that Charlie does in Tori, which I think is quite a sad element to the story. But it’s quite nice that the relationship between Tori and Nick this season deepens. There are some very lovely moments when they’re both supporting each other and helping each other in how to best support Charlie. He becomes sort of her surrogate brother at some points, and she becomes his surrogate sister. I find that element of what Tori’s able to give to Nick quite lovely because his brother just isn’t emotionally able to be that support for him.”
