Witch Tip: You don't HAVE to know the names of crystals
Yeah, knowing the names and properties of gems and such is cool if that's what you like and are perhaps planning on dominating in a geology-based gameshow, but if you are like me and the attempt of knowing and looking up such a vast thing got you like
Then I have a solution for you!
Don't do that.
I have so many pretty rocks. What's this one? Could be granite, but I call it "Rock I Found While on a Trip with Friends".
What's this? Rose Quartz? No, that's "Pretty Pink Glass that Makes Me Feel Feminine." I use it to make my face toner.
This blue stone cut and wrapped in wire? It's obviously meant for a new-age necklace, so do I spend the time and effort necessary to figure out if it's really the crystal it's suppose to be? Nope, I labeled it "Gift from a Liar" and move on just like I moved on from the ex who gave it to me.
You don't need to stress out over remembering what gem or color or whatever represents what. Try out different stuff (candles, rocks, trinkets) you have with a spell and see which one works best, and then use that. I promise you that the Witchcraft police will not come and arrest you if you don't adhere to rules like "black stuff for banishing" - If black makes you feel powerful, use it for anti-anxiety spells! Build your own magick! This stuff is suppose to make you feel better not worse.

How bad does your pots need to be to need a wheelchair? I'm passing out just from standing and I'm getting concerned. I stand all day at work plus I do Choir which involves a crap ton of standing and I've passed out at both now.
Asteroid Astrology and Deitywork
Look up the location of the asteroid(s) associated with your Gods in your chart. The house where your Godsâ asteroid is located can give you ideas for ways to work with them.
1st house: Personality - When people see you, they tend to see something of your god in you, so you have a special opportunity to represent their values in the world.
2nd house: Money - How you use your resources can be an important part of your practice. This might take the form of offerings, developing skills that are special to your Gods, or being careful to make sure you spend your money in a way that upholds their values.
3rd house: Communication - Godphoning or writing poetry, prayers, or devotional literature are ways you can honor the Gods.
4th house: Home - You can honor the Gods in the way you keep your home. This could take the form of keeping an altar to them or some other form of hospitality.
5th house: Children - Being a good example to children is a way of honoring the gods. This is also the house of creativity, and you can honor the Gods by making art for them.Â
6th house: Servants - You can honor the Gods through service directly to them or to the community. This house also rules chronic physical illness, and Gods with asteroids in this house may be good allies for you.Â
7th house: Marriage - Representing the Godsâ values in your relationships (of all kinds) is a good way to honor them if you have their asteroid in the 7th house. You may also be called to form a partnership with them.
8th house: Death - Depending on the interests of your Gods, comforting the dying, doing mediumship work, or honoring your ancestors might be a good way to honor them. Â
9th house: Long Journeys Over Water - If your Gods were worshipped in a distant land in ancient times, making a pilgrimage to that place is a way to honor them. This house also rules higher education, religion, and philosophy. Studying mythology, theology, and ritual are other ways to honor the Gods.
10th house: Career - Bringing your career/mission in the world and your Godsâ values into alignment is a good way to honor the Gods whose asteroids are in this house.Â
11th house: Friends - You can honor the gods through work that can be done in groups like rituals, classes, and IRL/online communities. If a group that honors your Gods doesnât already exist, why not start one?
12th house:Â Endings - This house rules solitary practices. If your Gods have asteroids in this house, you can honor them by retreating from the world for awhile and spending time with them. This house also rules mental health issues, so Gods with asteroids in this health may be good allies in mental health struggles you have.

This for the tarot card thing... why does the guy I used to like in 7th grade keeps appearing in my dreams?
For your reading I drew the six of swords, this is a card of transitioning. This tells me you are either at a transition in your life or one is coming up, I feel that he is going to come back into your life, whether on his own or you reach out to him. He plays an important part in this upcoming part of your life, as you become more independent and start to reflect on who you used to be and who you are becoming.

simple money spell đŤ
so you wanna get a couple extra bucks to get by? boost your chances of getting that call back from that job you want, saying youâre hired? hereâs a small jar spell to boost your luck
what you will need:
⢠jar
⢠green candle (associated with wealth)
⢠white candle (purity, use it while you work)
⢠alfalfa leaf
⢠rose hips
⢠lavender
⢠sesame seeds
⢠bay leaf
⢠sharpie
⢠shiny new penny
what to do:
⢠light your white candle (mine was vanilla but whatever suits you best, use it)
⢠write your intention on the bay leaf in your sharpie, I wrote financial gain since im broke as fuck
⢠layer your ingredients however you want, but I did lavender, sesame seed, alfalfa, rose hip, basil, and penny.
⢠close that bitch up and seal it with your green wax. I let it drip all around the edge of the jar and then put the candle on top and kept it lit until it all turned into a thick goopy mess on top just because
⢠while the candle is burning/your wax is dripping, think about some possible ways that money could be coming to you, how thankful youâd be, what youâd use it for, etc. if you use a deity, you can ask for their assistance here, but i personally donât have one.
⢠when youâre done with the green candle you can blow it out and blow out the white one, and keep the jar wherever youâll see it most, or take it with you if its small enough. bonus points if you keep it with some crystals like citrine, green adventurine, pyrite, peridot, etc. I have all of these on my workspace but it isnât required if you donât have them
now make some fuckin money đđđ
I've noticed a theme whenever I see artwork of Týr online. He's always a grizzled man with one hand gripping a sword menacingly.
I feel this really misses the point of the God. He's not only the God of War, but also Justice and His name was called upon when someone was wronged.
Týr is known as "The Left-handed God" If we assume that, like the majority of the population, Týr was right-handed before his sacrifice to Fenrir...
That would mean the Left-handed God only has his shield arm left. The God of Justice can only protect. He defends the weak.
My dash is lacking in current Heathen content... if you post about the gods and yourself and your spirituality and upg, please give this a like so I can follow you đâ¤ď¸

norsegodcalls
This poetic prayer was inspired by the last ask I received. To be used in the event of the death of any loved one; The way I have written and intended for it to be used is so that the reciter can choose whether to recite it in full, partially, or even with just one of the stanzas - depending on specific circumstances and whatever feels most appropriate
Tenets of the Gods
Baldr: The brightness of life. Let your presence be inspiring and beautiful to all. Allow your joy to radiate from within and become your aura. Bragi: Believe in the power of your words. Speak carefully with thought and precision. Let your praise empower and strengthen, and your insults dishearten and wither. Eir: Seek the cure. Help those in need, and offer comfort in whatever form you can. Reject the corruption of disease, any affliction can be treated and healed with the right approach. Fenrir: Destroy your chains and those who forge them. Never be cowed or submit in fear, reason should be met with respect but dominion with insurrection. Forseti: Deliver the beneficial compromise. Let peace be brokered and unnecessary conflict be evaded, good faith be honoured and deception be castigated. Freyja: Bask in your glory and empowerment. Let pleasure be a virtue, and self-determination be the basis of your strength. Revel in your emotions for they are your power. Freyr: Advance the endeavour of growth. Nurture life in all its forms and display the beauty of progeneration. Anything can take root and grow given the right conditions. Frigga: Provide and protect. Let all you care for be comfortable and safe, and no need be denied. The fire can warm but also burn. Heimdall: Vigilance and caution. A misstep may bring misery and an unheard word, disaster. The way forward is clear and danger is transparent, when the time is taken to identify it. Hela: Death is but the other half of life. Let stillness be, and quiet guide your thoughts. Endings should be neither sought nor feared, an end is but the opportunity for further beginnings. Idunn: Wisdom in youth. Let the words of babes ring with your consciousness and seek the truth held in their innocence, ignorance is found in the dismissal of the young. Loki: Freedom in fun and change. Do not be bound by norms and civility, evil is often disguised as order, and the fabricated as natural. The good thing is not always the common thing, deviation can lead to delight. Modi: Evolve and progress. Find no contentment in maintaining a status quo. Each day be better than yesterday, see the good of your forebear and strive to excel further. Seek, always, the betterment of your theory and actions. Njord: Ebb and flow, give and take. Action begets reaction, matter demands a void, for happiness there must be sadness, for gain there must be loss. Balance is a virtue, no one approach can suit every obstacle. Odin: Wise and learned. Always search for the opportunity to learn, wisdom is found in the diversity of life. Give your knowledge freely and be gracious in reception, a mind in isolation is a mind that does not grow. Sif: Be proud and know your worth. Demand your place and your right to exist in the world. Pay mind to fair criticism but reject detractors wholly. Take pride in yourself, and seek betterment for your own sake. Sigyn: Steadfast and devoted. Stand firmly for what you believe, keep loyal to that you love. Nothing worth doing is easy, no worthwhile thing is effortless. Love takes work, and ideals require labour. Skadhi: Justice through vengeance. Vileness be met with viciousness, the unforgivable can not be forgiven, though reason may temper rage. Covert, can be calamity, and war kept for a better day. Thor: Powerful protection. Vie for strength in soul and arm, to protect is to persevere against evil, contest not only in arms but in wills. To bring joy against misery, hope against despair, and a hammer against tyranny. Tyr: Honour and sacrifice. Victory is not always decisive, a small win leads to the larger success, a minor loss can avert the grander. Achievement can come in portion just as well as in entirety. Ullr: Mirth in contest. Appreciate fair competition and find joy in the fight, to train you must have a partner, to win - a rival. In loss be grateful for the challenger and in victory, for the challenge. norsegodcalls These are some personal interpretations of the kinds of values and virtues that the gods each have, written up as specific tenets.
