Chicken Cordon Blue Soup! So satisfying for a cool fall evening! Recipe courtesy of Chef In Training. Seriously, soup with juicy chicken, salty ham and bacon, then cheese it all up with a broth! Fantabulous! Don't forget the crusty french bread for dipping:)
Pan fry beef and peppers served over jasmine rice. Easy Pepper steak recipe from Gimme Some Oven! So tasty and quick for homemade asian cuisine!
Sausage pasta with butternut squash sauce and topped with fontina! Fall flavors! Used a jar sauce I picked up at Costco for this one.
As the weather gets cooler, I have pumpkins on my mind. This hearty sausage and bean soup in pumpkin bowls was complete satisfaction! The recipe was from Martha Stewart. I however modified it quite a bit as the number of servings was too large and I wanted it to cook quicker so I left out things like carrots that take longer to soften up. It was a delicious fall meal and definitely impressed the new neighbors we had over. By finishing baking the soup right in the pumpkin it made the whole presentation edible.
Sweet potato, Kale, and Sausage Bake with White Cheese sauce from Pinch of Yum. This is just fantastic! Healthy veggies, rich creamy sauce with gouda. It was perfect for our rainy evening. I'm enjoying the leftovers for lunch today:)
Cheesy tortellini bake from Center Cut Cook. Creamy cheesy sauce with ham and broccoli. With garlic bread, my husband made the delicious butter himself:) So good! This recipe is huge, too! We had plenty left over for a few lunches, which makes my mornings easy:)
Sweet red onion fettuccine topped with with a sausage tomato sauce. Started with Graziano sausage and a simple jar of marinara, added pink lady tomatoes from our garden, fresh basil we also grew, garlic and shallot pepper. Yum!

Organic red potatoes and organic white onion sautéed in bacon grease then finished crisping in the grill, still in the iron skillet. Added a bit of salt and lots of fresh ground pepper.
