This is the perfect idea for use of unknown actors - first roles, people who can body-act well.  If they need dialogue, dub voice actors over them.  Unknown physical actors combined with well-known, celebrated animation voice actors.  Like, “Okay, the purple astronaut is voiced by Tress McNeil! I think the green one is Mark Hammil?  Is the white-suit Jonny Yong Bosch?  Oh, dude, duuuude, is that Keston John voicing Blue?”   And it’s all done in-story with sci-fi com-systems so we can hear the dialogue, but nobody’s taking off their helment in a potentially toxic or oxygen-thin or potentially space-pathogen-laden atmosphere.

The town neighboring me is currently the center of a fierce custody battle for an entire flock of feral (maybe wild, jury's out) but tamed peacocks. They were apperently brought in as decorative animals in the 1920s for a hotel, and the hotel has since been torn down and houses built on the land, but the peacocks bred and descendents remained. So some lady just... "adopted" them. Like all 50 of them. And is keeping them in her small yard and kitchen. Like she has posted videos of peahens riding her ceiling fan.

Anyway, they keep breaking out and into her neighbors yard, and are very loud.

She's arguing that they shouldn't be removed because technically her yard is on part of the property the hotel was originally on and all she's doing is feeding them, her neighbors are arguing that keeping peacocks in her kitchen and ushering them back into her small yard when they get out means she's definitely trying to own them, and the city is arguing that while they are tame, they aren't actually a domestic species of peacocks and she might be in like, a lot of trouble.

But no one knows what would be *done* with them if they were removed. Until a few years ago, they were living and thriving fine on their own, but they've now be trained/taught that this lady will feed them, so releasing them where they were before isn't exactly an option. They could possibly go to the shelter if it's determined they are actually domestic, or I suppose they could end up at the zoo, but most people are actually on this lady's side because they are assuming if the peacocks are removed they'll be destroyed.

fundamentally the difference between being comrades and being friends is that, while you're born into neither arrangement, camaraderie comes from a shared fidelity to a common cause, and not to each other. you can be comrades with someone you absolutely loathe on a personal level, but still be able to rely on their aid absolutely in as far as carrying out your common goals - this is, in fact, a necessity for discerning between 'political organisation' and 'social clique'. this doesn't excuse corrosive behaviour, to the degree that it affects organisation, but not everything is actually a matter relevant to carrying out revolution.
