I’ve got a theory about Bridgerton, spoilers for who doesn’t know what happens in Francesca’s book!

It’s clear that something happened in Scotland with Michaela, but not what. There is a theory that Francesca walked in on Michaela and another woman in bed, which I thought could very well happened as well. But now I think maybe the opposite happened and Michaela walked in on John and Francesca. In Frans teaser for part 2 she mentioned that Michaela has “a habit of coming unannounced”, which obviously refers to her coming in the last episode, but she did say habit, so it might’ve very well happened before. And also that could be the reason why she is fully dressed in her sex scenes with John. Just a theory lol.

I haven’t had a chance to watch season 2 of PJO (I still don’t really) so here are my live reactions of the first episode:

- Watching the recap and I forgot how young Aryan looked in s1 lol

- Did Grover just… sanitise the pan flute? Valid actually lol

- Love that transition to Percy waking up

- I really like the fact that Percy has Annabeths picture on his mirror with and Grover too, it makes more sense in the show for some reason

- Sally being Tysons hero is very cute and fitting

- Sally’s dream about the trident and the scythe is so perfect for Luke being Percys foil

- Annabeth seeing Tantalos for like one second and being able to draw an accurate picture is perfect

- Luke being the ‘other boyfriend’ whoops

- I was impressed with the CGI of the tentacle taking Grover (compared to s1), but the fireballs were not good at all hahahah

- Love the fact that there’s some kind of lightning effect when someone tries to cross the border

- I wonder if Percy is gonna mention the fact that Annabeth wasn’t gonna let Tyson in if it weren’t for Percy?

I really had to stop reading/translating Medea for a moment just because Jason pissed me off so much

The Sea of Monsters plot is honestly so genius and I’m not just talking about the Odyssee journey. I’m talking about the fact that Grover is the bride of Polyphemus, because that too is a reference to Greek mythology.

There used to be a theater genre called “satyr play”, which was a play about satyrs (as comic relief) being in situations where a hero has to save them, but it’s all very funny, sort of a combination of tragedy and comedy (if I’m not mistaken, might have gotten some details jumbled up).

The thing is, there’s only one satyr play that (almost) completely survived, called “Cyclops” by Euripides. This play is about a satyr (Silenus) who is a slave (together with his sons, the chorus) to Polyphemus. Odysseus comes and Silenus gets taken by Polyphemus to his bed and Odysseus saves him. (This is a very quick summary and there’s a lot more going on tho.)

A satyr being taken by Polyphemus in his cave, sounds familiar?

I’m not sure if Rick actually intended to reference it, but the coincidence is too big otherwise hahaha.
