The bravest thing you can do is stop mourning the life you expected and start noticing the one that's trying to find you.
oh no they’re going to start calling democrats the same thing they’ve been calling democrats for 20 years now
"Here’s a trick I learned during the Obama presidency for handling certain types of political labels. Take, as an example, the Tea Party claim that Obama is a Communist. Don’t take the word of the person making the claim (Tea Partiers). Don’t rely on the rebuttal of the target (Obama), because that will just be dismissed. Go to the group itself (Communists) and ask them. Ask an actual Communist if Obama is a comrade and see how they answer. Watch as they laugh at you, then explain in great detail how they wish there was a Communist in the White House, but here’s a long and exhaustive list of why that just isn’t so. Now apply this logic to the claim that Hillary is pretty much the same as a Republican. Ask an actual Republican if they think Hillary Clinton is one of them. Watch them laugh, and then explain in the same exhausting detail why that just isn’t so. Some of them might concede that she’s better than Trump, but that’s not the same thing. Finally, go ask a White Supremacist if Trump is one of them. As they excitedly explain how Trump is the guy they’ve been waiting for all these years, and how he’s really empowered their movement, use this to guide how you will be voting in November."

I have one baby bunny (out of four) that somehow gets out of the enclosure, every day, spending all day in my neighborhoods different bushes and just magically disappearing, then reappearing every night to be fed by mommy.
And I have no idea how he's getting out. None of the others follow. Ive gone over the whole thing several times, I keep thinking I must have fixed it. Ive caught him and put him back just to have him gone by the next day again. He's like three inches tall and he leaves all the other bunnies and goes who knows where in an area with several outdoor cats and dogs and still shows back up every night.
Today its been raining and thundering all day. Do you think he cared? No! He was not staying in the boring dry house like literally every other rabbit, he had to go out exploring
This bunny is the one they make children's shows about as he goes on wacky adventures as soon as people leave
this is the face of a NIGHTMARE
Project Hail Mary was such a good movie but I cannot stop thinking about how fucking funny it would have been if Ilyukhina and Yao had made it instead of Grace
The Beetles (boring name AU) arrive back on earth and Stratt opens the video diary and it's Ilyukhina and Yao going "sooooooo your pet twink didn't make it"
Imagine them taping Grace's glasses onto Rocky's exosuit and hoping she doesn't notice like a pair of exhausted parents swapping out their four year old's dead goldfish for a new one
It's almost like he's stil there with them
To my 25 - 35 year olds, you've reached the age where people around you are starting to give up on themselves because they think it's too late. Don't let that energy rub off on you. It's not too late.
I became a tattoo artist at 49.
Married the love of my life at 50.
Got my Class A CDL at 59.
You've got time.
As long as you're breathing, you've got time.
Maybe I'm not mentally ill and I'm actually just feeling anxious and guilty because I'm evil inside
I forgot to eat dinner so I'm having 11 pm corn on the cob. This counts as a meal
... It's possible that I really need to do some grocery shopping
Okay for those of you living in pitiful ignorance, take a raw ear of corn with the husk on and cut all the way around the base (as pictured: above the point where the husk meets the cob, so that the entire husk is severed but still wrapped around the corn. Do not cut through the cob.) Then, with the husk still on, microwave it for 5-7 minutes. It'll basically steam it inside the husk. Remove from microwave --it will be hot, so use a mitt or a towel--and firmly pull the top of the husk/silk, which should come off easily in one piece, unsheathing a flawless corn on the cob. If it doesn't, you probably need to cut a little higher around the base, so all the leaves are severed. No picking off silk!
For the nonbelievers (and for me, a second corn)

5001 being divisible by 3 doesnt feel right
Shortcuts to determine if an integer is divisible by:
This is a given.
If the last digit is divisible by 2 (a.k.a. even), then so is the whole number.
If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, then so is the whole number. The recursivity of this means that if the sum has multiple digits, you can add them up again until you get a single digit and see if it's 3, 6, or 9.
Like the rule for 2, but check if the last two digits are divisible by 4.
If it ends in 5 or 0.
If the rules for both 2 and 3 apply.
No shortcut. Alas.
Like the rules for 2 and 4, but check if the last three digits are divisible by 8. (Yes, this pattern keeps going for 16, 32, etc.)
Like the rule for 3, but the sum of the digits (or the sum of the sum of the digits, etc.) must be 9.
If it ends in 0.
#THIS POST IS WRONG 7 DOES HAVE A RULE FOR HOW TO TELL IF THE NUMBER IS DIVISIBLE#it's just. not a short cut#you're better off dividing it and seeing if you get a whole number than doing the method
but what IS the rule @anqelbean ???
Okay, so, basically, you remove the least important digit of the number (which is the first digit from the right), you double it, and then subtract it from the remaining number. If the number you get is still large, you do it again.
For example, 294
29 4
4×2=8
29-8=21
21 is divisible by 7
Second example, 1946
194 6
6×2=12
194-12=182
182 is still large, so let do it again
18 2
2×2=4
18-4=14
14 is divisible by 7

The upside to the adhd forgetting that you made yourself a drink thing is thinking to yourself “man I could go for a drink right now” and looking to your right and seeing a drink has appeared there. Thank you, past me. I lost you somewhere but you have still provided.
Sometimes I’m like “man I should cook lunch” and then look at my phone and oh that’s right! I did make lunch and here’s the timer for it! It’s almost done! Yay!
whole day I was STRESSINGGG over cleaning my room
I come home, and guess what?
