i can agree with some of your transfeminist analysis about harm wrt intersectint axis or oppression (white women being dangerous to black women for example) but where I think we lose the plot is by diminishing the reasons "afabs" generally feel safer around other afabs. This fear of amabs is not because of bigotry, a basic transfeminist analysis will tell you that. Our culture is organized around the idea that there exist two social classes: rapists and rape victims. That is the reason the male-female binary was invented, and why infants are assigned sexes at birth, and why everyone is socialized to be cisgender, is to socialize half of society into being rapists and the other half into tolerating being raped. We do a disservice to *everyone* especially trans women (who are treated as consenting to rape because of their transitions) when we make it seem like afabs are out to get us. They are just trying to survive patriarchy like everyone, and in general their fears of rape are legitimate. I'd love to hear you focus more on how to fight the violence amabs mete out against trans women every day, how they sexually assault, beat to death, deny housing, deny medical care, and harass trans women. It is amabs fault that men's spaces are unsafe for trans women.

"legitimate" fears of rape are relentlessly weaponized against trans women and used to restrict our rights and maintain the rapist/rape victim binary. what do you think the entire terf movement is? have you missed when I've talked about how these exact "legitimate" fears of rape are used to DARVO trans women when we are sexually abused?

the "deny housing" part is especially egregious. when I've discussed "AFAB only housing" and the ways trans women are denied entry at women's shelters, it is not in fact "amabs" doing all the discrimination there. the discrimination is based in the same "legitimate fears" you discussed
quite a lot of trans women's blood is in fact on the hands of the """"victim"""" class, and the very fact that so many people cannot accept this is all the more reason it needs to be discussed
you correctly identify that a rapist/victim binary has been constructed, but you miss how fucking dangerous it is to be part of a demographic with an incredibly high risk of being victimized yet who are denied the ability to be understood as victims, instead always being presumed the perpetrators of the crimes committed against us BECAUSE we are forced onto the "rapist class" side of said binary
I would like to add that the stupid idea that there are rapists (men) and the raped (women) completely ignores those who have been victims of female rapists, and men who have been raped.
Women can be monsters, too. They aren't some pure, perfect victims who never do wrong. Not only is that deeply insulting and infatlizing, but it also erases all the experiences of those who HAVE been victimized by women.
I say this as an AFAB survivor of CSA and having been assaulted in my teens, both by men. But at home, my mother was the one who abused me. So maybe, just maybe, my genderqueer ass has always had a clear indication why this 'all men are evil' narrative is dumb as fuck.
Trans women are my fucking sisters, and many have had similar experiences to my own!
