It's very funny that transfeminism is, in essence, a poor MTF mimicking of radical feminism that takes from its points directly, except for when it gets to a principle that requires any kind of sacrifice from MTFs.

It has no stance on typical slurs for women, except "trans women get to say all the slurs and trans men shouldn't say bitch because fuck those dudes".

Correct periods are a fluctuation of 4 key hormones, fsh, oestrogen, Lh and progesterone and they peak in the order listed here.

Hrt for trans women involves taking the same dose of synthetic oestrogen daily as such the level of oestrogen in their body remains relatively consistent, as such they do not experice the peaks of different hormone levels that would mimic a period.

I want to know what they even mean by this bc I'm gay regardless of how anyone else in the world identifies or lives their lives. If every other person on the planet disappeared tomorrow I would still be exclusively same-sex attracted (even if there was no one left to be attracted to). As would every other gay person, bc our sexual orientation is an inherent part of us which exists independently of any societal input.

So, no there very much is L, G, & B regardless of whether other people larp as the opposite sex, have weird kinks/dye their hair green/whatever else "queer" means at this point, have intersex disorders, or are uninterested in fucking. None of that impacts my sexuality in any way.

If I were to be generous and assume there’s any logic behind this, I guess they mean that our “community” has to be absolutely everyone—from actual homosexuals to people with gender identities to straight people who don’t feel attraction all the time, or it will completely disband and none of us will have a community. Which is a strange thing to claim because our community was absolutely thriving when it was just LGB. As soon as TQ+ came in, they drove homosexuals and sane bisexuals out with their homophobia. Reminder to newly out trans women/fems or anyone else on E, don’t let anyone gaslight you about your period symptoms. don’t let anyone with a child’s level understanding of how periods work make you feel like you’re stupid or delusional for experiencing period symptoms, especially if you think there might be something wrong.

things like endometriosis can develop in an estrogen-dominated system, because its the hormones that cause the growth of endometrial lesions, not the “parts” themselves. If you’re experiencing unusually painful symptoms* then you have a right to find a doctor who will take you seriously and not try to gaslight you into thinking that the pain is “normal”.

*period pain is not supposed to affect your daily life. It’s supposed to feel more like an inconvenience rather than a medical emergency. If you are struggling to go about your life, if you can’t move due to the pain, if you’re bed-ridden for the majority of your period, then that is not normal and you need to find a doctor who is going to take your pain seriously. This obviously goes for anyone who experiences periods because unfortunately it’s not common knowledge that experiencing agonising levels of pain is NOT NORMAL!!!
