Tbh, I don't like the bioessentialist beliefs a lot of radfems hold when talking about men. Assuming they are inherently evil because of their biology removes all accountability they hold for their actions and basically say that feminism exists for absolutely nothing all this time.

Bioessentialism is inherently anti-feminist. Anthropological, archeological and historical evidence supports that for 95%-97% of the 300.000 years humans have existed, societies were mostly egalitarian in regards to sex. Female sex-based oppression caused by male supremacy is a recent phenomenon, it's not inherent of the human male biology to oppress the female sex.

It honestly just feels like one big societal cop-out at this point. Because if men are inherently evil, and nothing we can do will ever stop them from committing violence then there's no point in even trying. The dark truth that I think even a lot of radfems don't like to face is that men are fully capable of being better, of growing and leaving misogyny behind, but they choose not to. They're just as capable of meaningful change and growth as we are, but they've grown comfortable living in a system that doesn't demand this from them. Men aren't inherently evil, they're just entitled and lazy. What the solution to this is, I'm not sure, not sure that any one person knows. But shit is getting too real to continue on with the whole "no hope for women" mindset, we're all about finding answers now.

I hate men. I told this to my dad and sister today after I exploded in anger over my disgust that males being allowed in female spaces is wrong. That I’m tired of women having to move over to accommodate men. I was really pissed.

And then my dad asked why I was so angry, there must be some underlying reason for it.

There is. A lot of men are rapists. Women and girls can not tell the difference between a man who is sort of decent and a man who is a rapist. Men are not doing enough to combat this problem. I was reading this compilation earlier today of people who had overheard horrible things, and most of them involved rape or sexual exploitation.

1. A girl was in her college room and overheard the guys in the next room talking about how to rape her (if they should drug her food, or grab her late at night on her way to the bathroom), and all the vile torture-related things they wanted to do to her.

2. Someone in line at a burger joint overheard two older (50-60) guys talking about a friend’s daughter who was “smoking hot” and how they’d like to “fuck her before the school boys get at it”. One asked the other how old the daughter was now. “She just turned 13.”

3. A bartender saw a guy give another guy a small bottle and heard him describing how it would “knock her out, she won’t remember anything” and he could “do it over and over”.

4. Someone eating in a restaurant heard someone at the next table saying “I could probably rape most of the girls there” and his friend saying “I’d help you if she fought, you know that.”

Guys like to say “not all men”, but at this point it seems like more men have sick, horrifying thoughts like this than those who don’t. Either way, how can we be expected to take a chance when we don’t know which is which? It’s fucking terrifying to be a woman in this world.

After I didn’t put out immediately with a guy I was ‘dating’, a rumour was spread around that the guy I was seeing (who was a Virgin lmao) rocked my world, and was nicknamed the “poonslayer” for the rest of the time he was at uni. At one point an alpha male type jock guy came up to my floor in uni looking for “the legendary poonslayer who smashed that girl up good”. Again he never touched me. And had no game. But it didn’t matter because bros and nerds will unite in their hatred, defamation and degradation of women. But whilst all of this was unpleasant, nothing and I mean NOTHING, prepared me for after I came out and started dating a woman.

Just a reminder in case anyone lives under a damn rock-the number one perpetrators of child sexual abuse are biological fathers. We’re getting close to the 2 year anniversary of an organized attempt by TIMs to threaten my life and my family’s life. I was doxxed and harassed for weeks, and because the perpetrator was a popular user 99% of the site still thinks he’s the victim and I’m the evil woman who wanted him banned. The thing that enrages me the most is the fact that this evil person saw my screenshots of the graphic threats I was receiving and accused me of sending them to myself to make him look bad- again, since he was way more popular, everyone believed him.

Keep in mind all I did was use he/him pronouns, and apparently that warranted a targeted harassment campaign that was so bad my mom and I needed to hire security and my mom had to work from home for a month. My family was getting ready to bring this case to an attorney but once he was IP banned we just decided to move on.

Anyway, don’t forget about it. This is who these people are, they aren’t content with simply disagreeing with a woman, no. They will do anything in their power to see that woman raped and/or killed. They get off to the thought of it. They did it to Satoryuga and redkatherine, and they tried to do it to me. I likely have privileges that those two women don’t, which led to them actually being harmed (allegedly) and I hope they’re doing okay now. I think about them a lot.

It's been a week and the people of Iran still don't have any internet. Last I heard from my friends they were going out to join the protests. Over 12,000 people were killed in just 2 days. Total darkness and total carnage. The morgues demand around 10,000 dollars to collect your loved ones' brutalised remains, as well as a box of confectioneries to thank them. As you can imagine, given the unendurable poverty, most families can't afford it. These people are animals, I don't even want to think about what they do with their bodies. People are shot just for going outside. They throw people in vans and take them as prisoners (mostly women, they believe it's not illegal or immoral to rape "criminal" women.)

We are tired but we are far more angry. This anger invigorates us. The people are still fighting but it is not enough.

Please spread the word! Please contact your local members of parliament to take action!

This is not only a humanitarian cause but a feminist one as well! The women of Iran deserve better than these inbred fucks hanging over our heads!

I remember when I started to talk about the trans thing about 10 years ago (!!) I had teenagers coming to me and telling me “I am a trans man - you wouldn’t want me in your bathroom!”. And I always told them that actually, I would. Because first, trans men are easily identified as women most of the time. They were so convinced that transition would make them indistinguishable from men. And second, that a young, obviously fragile woman, in a male space was in danger by default.

I had the idea, quite early on and before social contagion kicked in, that many among the girls who wanted to be men, had been victims of sexual abuse. And that turning into a man was a form of protection. You’ll find the same pattern in many girls who are anorexic or who self harm. These are girls who should, on the contrary be protected from men. It since we’ve elevated a mental illness to the status of a lifestyle or even a calling, that’s what happens. Girls are mutilated, girls are sterilized, girls are sent to male wards and raped.
