The idea of dragons in modern times is so fun because imagine a hot summer day on your vacay and go to use the hotel pool and staff is like "valued guests we regret to inform you that the pool area is out of service at the moment, we apologize for the inconvenience"

And people like "wtf why" looking out their hotel room window and there's this. This dragon just curled up in the pool chilling, literally, cooling itself down

Some of the staff are trying to gently shoo him away and the dragon does a soft little "rrrrrr" like a grumpy cat and a warning puff of smoke and they're like "fuck it i don't get paid nearly enough for this" and no ones using the pool today sorry!

In honor of descendants 4 dropping I thought it was time I finally redesign Mal to look more like a mix of her mom and dad instead of what we got in my canon she is immortal because shes the daughter of a fairy queen and a god (Hades) and it was only fitting I put a symbol for Hades (Cerberus) above her head Percy Jackson style as I've been rereading the books lately

Also I imagine that maleficent yells at Mal constantly for the way she holds maleficents staff she hates that her daughter holds it so leisurely

Also I am working on other redesigns but I refuse to do Carlos Cameron was perfect and I won't dishonor his memory by redesigning his character so if y'all have hopes of a Carlos redesign here is where I dash those hopes

omfs (oh my fucking sage) this looks like Sasuke is holding their hands so they don't go goblin mode. Like they just walked into the exams and everyone sees this... Sasuke is the only thing holding Naruto and Sakura back from just wrecking their shit.

Which has inspired my grimy gremlin brain.

So, Naruto and Sakura are drastically changed because of the Wave Mission. Sakura leans into Inner Sakura more as a way to cope. Naruto realizes the world for what it is and while he's still happy ray of sunshine good boy (TM) he's seen some shit now and lets the chaos out in more constructive ways. Sasuke came out fine because he was already fucked up. Sasuke sees that they're going through something similar to him (mental trauma bc of death of important people) and since Kakashi is... Well... A big part of the problem (not meaning to be though), Sasuke realizes that his team mates need someone there for them, to guide them through this difficult time. And to save the world from his two chaos goblins.

Basically, Sasuke now acts as a "shinobi dad" and it's freaking everyone out. He even slapped little Uchiha patches on his "kids"! Naruto never had a dad so he thinks Sasuke is being brotherly. Sakura's father is a civilian or whatever, but notices that Sasuke is treating her just like Naruto so that must mean he sees her as a sibling (honestly she's over her crush but will mess with Ino anyways). Sasuke argues against going into the exams with so little experience, Naruto and Sakura need more time but he relents when they give him puppy dog eyes (Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and Kakashi's nin-dogs) But he only relents if Naruto and Sakura master a jutsu. The exams start in a three weeks, no way they will master replacement... Naruto and Sakura become masters at replacement, in different ways. See, in canon the replacement technique only works if someone is attacking you to hurt you (part 2 lore or whatever) buuuut Naruto used it on Inari in Wave. Naruto can use Replacement on other people. For Sakura, she has perfect chakra control and we later learn that jutsu can be done without hand signs if you're good enough. Guess what, Sakura learns to do replacement without hand signs. Sasuke is a proud dad. Not only did he make them stronger, he did it in a way that keeps them out of danger. Orochimaru shows up in the forest of death and is not prepared for these three little shits. Apparently Kabuto forgot to let him know that the little orange asshole can replace other people, with or without himself being replace. The little pink pissant doesn't even need hand signs for replacement! Why the hell is the Uchiha looking so proud? Did he just pull some juice boxes out for his team mates?
