Yeah, I mean it's clearly not random, especially since there are a few places where there's a recognizable date and time format.

But with it only using 7 different letters it'd probably be difficult or impossible to decode.

Also if I copy and paste some of it it turns out there are special characters in there that aren't rendering. I wonder if this started out as a normal ask and then the data got corrupted or something.

Hi, I'm OP's sister, she was showing me the full text of this (which she doesn't want to post all of in case it's somehow compromising information or something), and the date format caught both of our eyes as a decoding starting point.

She noted that IDDXL is the same length as MARCH or APRIL. There were two other things that showed up in the month slot for dates, CIDIX and IMXMMM, the former also being 5 letters and the latter being 6, which would just line up with AUGUST. We both noticed that if the former 5-letter month is MARCH and the latter is APRIL, that would make I=A and D=P line up, with I=A also tracking for AUGUST. I also noticed that IMXMMM=AUGUST make S, T, and U all being M groups up rather neatly alphabetically, so I decided to note these assumptions down as:

This... lines up rather nicely. It also makes DC and IC (not pictured) showing up after times line up to PM and AM. I take it to its natural conclusion:

This leaves the last 5 letters of the alphabet as a bit of a mystery, but... as I'm looking at the screenshot up above again now... [MVIDIX] MVIDIX DMVDI looks like [SEARCH] SEARCH QUERY [MCLCCIC XCDMM MIDV] even looks like [UNKNOWN INPUT TAPE] So I'm thinking VWXYZ is all I as some sort of default. So starting to decode the rest of the screenshot...
