I think part of the problem is that ppl mostly focus on the effects cross-sex hormones have on aesthetics and fertility only. I've only ever seen any acknowledgement of other medical consequences (osteoporosis, elevated heart attack risk, painful vaginal atrophy, etc.) discussed on detrans and radfem pages.
TRAs don't like to acknowledge detransitioners at all, and if they do they usually straight up lie that everything short of "bottom surgery" is reversible. And rightwingers mostly harp on about how sad it is that detrans women aren't ~beautiful feminine~ waifs anymore and/or that they'll never be able to have/breastfeed their own children (generally without ever considering whether the woman in question actually even wants to have kids). And nobody on either side wants to listen to actual feminists or detransitioners.

It's particularly saddening how people try their best to divert attention from the clearly malicious actions of the creator. I really hate that for some reason the narrative became that women fought to join the workforce rather than women fought to have the same jobs for the same pay as men instead of being relegated to labour considered to be lesser and explicitly disallowed from many roles and professions. fuck off and die.
Women have ALWAYS been part of the workforce. Always. When we were hunter gatherers, women both hunted and gathered. When we began farming, do you think women just sat around staring at the ground all day? No, they fucking worked. They would strap their baby to their back and work in the fields, all day. When industrialization came to town, women worked. Sometimes longer hours and always for a lot less pay. We typed, we filed, we ingested poisonous substances to paint tiny little numbers on clocks. And became horribly disfigured from it. Fighting for equal rights didn't mean we suddenly "got" to work. It meant we fought to not be denied a promotion because we were women. It meant we fought to not be fired because we got pregnant. We fought to make a dollar for every dollar a man made in the same position, rather than 70 cents for every dollar. We still aren't done fighting because this shit is still happening right now.
